I would imagine the steel frame is up all the time as you need to screw it together & fix it to the wall/floor, you can remove the canopy in the bad weather by the look's of it, tbh the sort of summers & weather we have would be up & down like a yoyo easier to just stick a brolly up half a dozen times a year i have never had much luck with gazebos in the past, i always end up leaving them up after i have had a few beers & wake up to find them in next doors garden ;)

I would also say that @ just 200cm this one may be a little small - notice how the picture makes it look deceptively large by putting it over an over sized single door.
