When it seems too good to be true it usually is, as is the case here it seems.

Link is fixed but title is misleading...

Bet has to be placed on evens or more making it harder to win anything
#5
Bookies don't give cash for free. End of story and you will lose.

Why so cold? Voted hot.

For those who know (or are willing to look into) matched betting this looks very nice indeed if my quick read of it is right.

Bookies do give away money actually, and lots of it, if you know what you are doing*.

*I'm not talking about, nor advocating gambling. Matched betting, done correctly allows you to extract a large percentage of any such bonus offer/free bet without "gambling".

Can't see the deal on WH site

Very true. £600+ in bonuses and £150 in cash backs so far :-D.

People are voting cold as they have never looked into match betting, if you do it properly there is easily £95 free cash here,

Just remember it is SNR.

ok i'm into it any idea what to put the £100 on and the other betting on?

I haven't seen anything in the T&C's to suggest this.

don't risk the original stake. put it on something certain to win. Federer in the tennis for example. Only 1.01 odds in his match today but it qualifies you for the free bet.

Maybe they voted cold because the best deal was a £200 bonus at Cheltenham this year :whistling:

Have a look on MSE - I think there's a thread where people post good opportunities.

For the initial bet I guess you are just looking for anything with close odds for "laying" on betfair (or better if you are lucky). eg Team A to win at 2.25 at WH which you can "lay" at betfair for 2.27.

Team A wins and you get £225 from WH (for a £100 stake) but you owe £227 out at betfair. You are down £2 but have unlocked the maximum free bet.

Ideally then you find something with long odds on which to use your SNR bet. You'd need a large pot in Betfair to lay this but you'd end up making a guranteed amount. I think 85% or more is not uncommon.

Just have a thorough read about matched betting first - there's betfair commission to factor in and how to know what to put on each option etc.

are you sure you can extract the £100 credit from the account after your first bet? the details in the terms and conditions point to another offer (free bet) so its not very clear unless ive missed something
#17
...and don't be tempted into gambling on a certainty. There's no such thing. Just follow the right process and be prepared to get less than 100% of what's on offer (but be guaranteed).

Fair comment - that sound slike a very nice offer. I suspect the chilliness this time however is people equating bookies = gambling = bad

I've done a bit of matched betting (and a very nice spell of arbing a few years ago), but you need to understand it.

Took me a few reads before the penny dropped. As for time, I spend an hour or so every other Satuday.

Don't forget £10 quidco cashback also with WH.

they do the £100 matched bet nearly every saturday/weekday based major sporting event over their telephone betting service (you can open an Internet Account over the phone and get the Telephone Betting promotion for opening an account)

The restriction on the Free bet is that it has to be on a different 'event'. For example your own staked bet goes on one match, the free bet must go on another match, or a non-related market (e.g. bet on a team to win, and for a player on the opposing team to score a goal etc). The free bet can be on an 'odds-on' bet, just remember you won't get the stake back.

(My brother works in their call centre :) )

It's usually the holier than thou all betting is wrong crowd that cold vote any betting offers, just ignore it.
#24
It's a good offer for us MBers but it's not a good offer to start with for n00bs.
(a £100 SNR bet would require upwards of £700 spare cash in your Betfair account to get maximum profit from the free bet)

The best way is to start with the smaller SR offers such as Coral's £50 and Sportingbet's 4x£25
Once you've completed those 2 you should have around £150 in Betfair and be in position to start doing some small SNR (plus all the other SR out there)

But yeah WillHill is definitely not one to start with, but rather one to do a lot later on after you've built up your Betfair balance.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about but are interested in starting MBing then you should head over to MSE and read the guide several times and wait until you fully understand it all before starting.
#25
I agree with nadnerb Please please don't do this offer if just starting out in Matchbetting. The best and easiest one to start with is the coral offer for £50 free bet using the sun code (see MSE).

For all those thinking about taking the plunge. Make sure you print off the beginners guide on MSE, read and read again. download one of the recommended spread sheets such as automatcher. Play around with that first till you are comfortable using it and only take the plunge when you are entirely happy. Someone on MSE will check your figures if you want before betting.

I started this couple of months ago and can't believe how much money can be made totally free and relatively risk free for a few minutes work. The only way to lose is your own human error - so make sure you know what you are doing!

I actually run a website were I have deals setup with numerous online bookmakers and a lot of what has been said on here is correct and a lot of it not so correct.

Basicly there in fact around 20 Online Bookmakers that will provide you with a Free Bet once you open an account. Mostly these bookmakers Match your 1st Bet upto a certain amount.

Obviously some sites have a clause stating that to claim your Free Bet you must place your first bet on a price with at least 2.00 or Over (Even Money Basicly)

Others will let you place your first bet on anything and then after this event has finished you will find your account credited with the amount you placed on your 1st Bet.

This can then only be used to place a bet with and can not be withdrawn from your account. Once you have used the Free Bet on a even you selected your account is then only credited with the Profit of this bet.

For example if you took up an offer of a Free £25 Bet and then placed that £25 on say Man Utd to have won last nite in their Champions League match against Slavia Prague you would of had the following...

£25 on Man Utd to beat Slavia Prague @ 1.80 :- Total Returns £45 minus the £25 Free Bet , Money credited to your account which can now be withdrawn £20.

This is basicly how it works with many of the online bookies although not all of them.

*** Mod edit - it's still spam to tell people to google something which gives hits to your website ***

I know spam isn't taken kindly on here so I won't post my websites URL , but following that advice I previously mentioned will basicly find you all the * spam* you can get and in total there is around a good £500 on offer.
