Freedom food willow farm chickens are half price at tesco. HALF PRICE Was £3.49 kg Now £1.74 kg - valid from 22/10/2009 until 25/10/2009. I got a massive chicken for £3.40 and they had all different sizes to suit your needs. These chickens are given space to roam around and given lots of time to grow, no nasty growth hormones. The farms are regulated by the RSPCA. They even have windows on the barns:-) You really can't have any moral issues with this deal.

doubt the cats will be that bothererd.

I believe so, but I'd have to check to be certain. however their fresh meat is normally very good. In fact my brother (he's a cabbie) picked up a chap from the soil association, the people who check and monitor organic and sustainable farming ect. Well he told my bro that costco use the the highest rated and best producers for their meat of all the supermarkets.
And i can confirm it tastes really good.

Some cats can be choosy about what they eat.

IN !!!

Before the chicken police smash the doors in :p

No doubt they will find something wrong with these birds (maybe they dont have an Evian fountain to drink from or the farm they are reared on is too westerly etc etc) ,so I'm getting my hot vote in now.

Nice find OP.

Where exactly do Tesco say these are "Free Range"

These chickens are housed in barns at the RSPCA-recommended stocking density, with straw bales to perch on and windows providing the birds with natural light. They are fed a maize enriched diet and are a slower growing breed.

There a happy medium between value and premium whole chickens,
and there damm tasty and good vale so HOT deal
