Bargain for Hayao Miyazaki's latest movie, normally I always buy ghibli DVDs but this is the first time I've bought the blu-ray! Cheapest I've seen it so far.

Thanks, bought.
It seems like it's oos, if you re-search for it, then click blu-ray, it is in stock.
Cheers!

oos :(

Thanks.

Looks like it's only the DVD that is out of stock. This movie definitely deserves the Blu-ray treatment.

I love studio ghibli films normally but this movie left me cold sadly. Not a bad deal though.

His worst movie without a doubt. Seriously disappointing way to go out. It's basically about a guy who designs aircrafts - and THAT'S IT! The story is an absolute yawnfest, no bad guys, no twists, nothing! This inevitably results in a very neutral ending. And if you're expecting anything remotely like the magical/creative of his past films - you'll get 0% here.

Well any fan of Miyazaki would know of his fondness with planes. Near on all his films feature planes in some form.

So for a man who loves planes, making his last film a sort of biopic about a guy who designed possibly Japans most well known plane, seems fitting

This film is nothing like his other films and that's exactly the problem. It's like watching a documentary without the narrative or immersion.

My least favourite ghibli film - don't need to see again.

A nice looking, if a bit self indulgent film. Undeniably boring. I also couldn't bite my tongue for the duration of the film and had to explain to my son that all of these characters were our enemies in the war. It was galling to see a romanticised portrayal of the Japanese/Italian/German alliance
