regardless of this "find" !

in general.

oem keys do not need hardware in europe or are tied to motherboards - only in the states is this a requirement. The courts in the states chose one way and we chose another.

It's because the keys are worldeeeeesss.....

This is so gonna be deactivated in the near future. Good money spinner for the guys running it though.

Just to the 'anti's', I've use them recently and I couldn't find fault; excellent and will use them again. Best you go by your own instincts though!

Post back in 6 months to a years time about that key you bought, I'd genuinely like to know if it's still working.

Pair of reading spex from Poundland is a quid. That's your legitimate freebie upgrade to W10 sorted.

Are these upgrade keys or New Install

Might be worth it just so you can demand they ship the broken motherboard.
The feedback clearly implies they just send the keys so that's bound to wind them up :p

If you really want to risk going down this route, there are ebay sellers selling for even less, £4.75 and perhaps even cheaper if you look. Wouldn't risk it myself though.

Actually I bought the Win 7 Pro key from them, then upgraded via the MS Freebee upgrade, so assume my PC (Bios I assume?) is now registered as Windows 10, so it will stay as that unless I downgrade to Windows 7! I will re-post in the future if any problems though (but I'm a little nervy about sharing this!). I know, so why did you? - just a reply!

Oh, I should add that the Win 7 key did need proper authentication before I could do the upgrade; and all worked fine. Also though, if you are worried about your £6.49p investment here, then don't bother, just go pop out to PC World and buy it boxed!

How about this windows 7 Pro key £3.89 and over 6000 sold and 99.8% feedback at that price its got to be worth a lash at that. I bought 2 Windows 7 keys ages ago and im talking before windows 10 even came out and both upgraded and have been no issue at all and thats got to of been 2 years + but to be fair they were from reputable sellers for around £15. I would take no notice of the fear mongers on here who say they will deactivate in 12 months its bull **** Microsoft have 10s of millions of keys out their and these cheap keys probably are less than 1/2% of the install base, it would cost millions to attempt to track down these keys and then they would have to prove you didnt have the right to have that key. So go aheah and buy my old spare N54L server could do with a proper key i might invest and make it legal for £4.

Anyone expecting these keys to be legal needs to give their head a wobble. They will almost certainly be volume licence keys, probably from businesses or schools.

I'd just not bother activating Windows 10, rather than line to pockets of these 'here today gone tomorrow' crooks. Windows 10 is fully functional for ever without activation, the only thing you can't do is change your wallpaper or theme.

some programs have activate windows warning over them. i built a new pc for my parents house at xmas with a refurb pc that had no hdd. was hoping to find one with windows 7 coa as then can install windows 7 and upgrade to 10 with accessibility. but instead the pc i got in the end only had vista coa and so i just installed windows 10 straight.

web browsing and lucasfilm games have activate windows warning on it but xcom 2 and rainbow 6 and gta v no problems

If you use the Media creation tool and create a W10 USB installer or burn a DVD of it and upgrade within Windows 7 with that it'll still activate a W10 license for your machine.

those that say you can still get Win10 for free need to realise that you'd only buy this because you had no win7 or win8 licence to upgrade. You can't upgrade to Win10 for free if you've nothing to upgrade from to start with.

Theoretically possible, but near100% from 6k +FB indicates not.

And do you think eBay lets you change that feedback later on when you've been shafted? No of course it doesn't. The feedback is only an indication that the key works at the time of receiving it or up to 45 days (or however long you can submit feedback up to). The keys aren't like the legitimate ones for sale and in the end get blacklisted. Even if you upgrade it's probably linked to the original key anyway.

No requirement to change feedback. The hardware is not supplied. Your suggested shafted buyer can buy another, immediately post neg feedback, then file claim from PP for non-supply of tangible goods. Only an issue if vendor ceases to sell the alledged same key or exhausts stock, but it is a little difficult to exhaust stock of the suggested same key!
