Not legal to just sell OEM key?

Buyers may purchase the software providing that the seller is also selling the software with a hardware item. A careful buyer should make sure when checking the listing that there is a hardware item included in the sale.

It'll be a mixed bag. These things are something of a lottery - might work forever, might stop working if MSFT notice the fraudulent use, might not work at all.

At the end of the day, MSFT sell these as batches to OEM's like Dell, Lenovo etc and charge the OEM's a fee related to the device it's being used on - aint no way these keys are being issued legitimately.

i would keep your £2.99 and also keep your windows 7 if you have it.
windows 10 might as well still be in the beta stages as far as problems go.
its beyond useless.
i thought vista was bad but they they improved amazingly with the brilliant windows 7, then it was downhill alllll the way to 8....8.1 and now 10.
i have downgraded about 7 laptops since Christmas since the security update ruined the internet connection and people are having to clear there ip cache every hour.
so be warned people..... 7 isn't the most popular number for nothing ;)

I know some people don't like Windows 10 (privacy concerns, don't like the design or the changes to the UI, etc.) but seriously, worse than Windows 8? Worse than VISTA? Please.

can I upgrade from windows 10 to 10 pro without installing everything again? me and my brother illegally share the same key but for £3 I might as well buy one of my own

I hate windows 10. Ever since I upgraded for free nothing but trouble. As soon as I have a bit of time I'm doing a fresh reinstall of windows 7!

Do you really believe these keys are genuine? I guess most of you know they're not, just kidding yourselves. I can assure you that any keys that are emailed to you are not legit, they are created using key generators so every once in a while a genuine key gets created and lasts, the vast majority are trapped by the servers after several months as they fail the authenticity test. They also use volume licenses intended for software developers where each license is good for up to 100 installations. Many eBay software sellers for example are actually based in China, USA, Russia and Italy. They buy dormant eBay accounts and use them to peddle their counterfeit software. eBay turn a blind eye because all they care about is taking 5 to 10% of the sale.

Genuine OEM keys come with a genuine paper license in the form of a physical certificate of authenticity on which the key is displayed and contained within a white cardboard OEM sleeve with a red seal. The packs are printed with a batch number and the words MADE IN GERMANY or Made In Turkey.

You have no idea where the money is going. Most of the eBay sellers are part of criminal networks and your money is funding their wider criminal activities including drugs, terrorism etc. Is that what you want to waste your money on?

Sorry thought you meant overall the link is where i just bought one from.
I must be lucky because all the windows keys i have bought off of eBay have been fine apart from one where i had to go to a website to activate but it didn't work in the end i went though papal and got my money back which i pay for everything i buy off of eBay.

I've been using Win10 on two machines without a product key and yet to have any issues. - VM on Mac and an ancient Dell 5150 desktop.

Why buy one?

Yes if you already have Win7 or 8 to upgrade from. If you have XP or Vista there's no free upgrade to 10.

Most of the funding for terrorism is from UK/USA government. Google how much money and weapons they have given to the Syrian terrorists...sorry I meant to say 'moderate rebels'.

That's a US article from ten years ago.

US courts and eu courts took different routes on OEM licenses

US courts said you can't resell them
eu courts said you can resell them

Microsoft likes to make everyone believe the US version

Lol, clearly not otherwise he would not have so many problems and rate windows vista as being better than windows 10.

Politics and religion have no place within a supposed deal thread on HUKD.

Cheaper on the pirate bay or kickass torrents.

Same money goes back to msoft.
