1537 HEAT last time I posted this amazing machine few months ago when it was £210.

Mine is being used 24/7 and no probs, it is actually 64bit windows and updates fine, with COA on the back.

UPDATED even cheaper at £181 most of us paid £210-220 when last in stock, amazing deal for those who missed out last time. I have since added ssd and very fast, was easy to do.

PLEASE READ!!!!
I bought one a few days ago and waited to see condition before posting this, I put an offer of £205 and was accepted within minutes.
it also has a aluminum lid and a magnesium base, so no cheap plastic feel to it.

Battery life is over 5 hours too.

****this i5 is one of the best scoring 3520 passmark points****
compared to the other deal on here with the i5 540M thinkpad scoring 2382 passmark

Im very impressed so sharing.

Yes the colour lids I think have been sprayed and the link you gave states "Marks/Dents on top of Lid, Minor White Spots on Screen "
So I would avoid.

Thanks, took the plunge and got one. Any idea where to get a decent battery at a decent price?

Well the extended battery that came with mine still returns 5 hours of use, so wait to see how good yours will be, welcome really are great machines, but would recommend ssd upgrade and buy a cheap usb-sata cable for about 4 pounds on ebay to clone disk :)

I ordered a couple a few months ago and they both came in quite poor dirty condition - needed quite a bit of cleaning. Both batteries were around 60% capacity which is around 2-3 hours of real use. One of them was quite badly dented on the side which wasn't declared so I returned it for a refund.

It's an OK deal, speed will be fine but as ex lease, battery and ware and tare may be a worry.
By the time you add on a new battery (Dell original, as you do not want a fire:)) it will be taking you to around the £250 Mark.
For around that you can pick up similar Deals on the Dell outlet with 3Y NBD Warranty. (I purchased my son an E5420 with the same spec for £272.80 for Christmas and that is like new, with a new battery)
Very fast machine when you add an SSD

So Hot and Cold depending on what you need to do with it. :)

Ill give it some heat, but it is always worth checking the business part of the Dell outlet.

Awesome offer for an i5 - thanks

I have bought a laptop from this company and the battery died within a fortnight, they don't guarantee the battery,
you will likely get a worn out battery on its last legs, also keyboard was worn out, both had to be replaced

TBH these should be classed as used not refurbished. They would be from the end of a 3 year financial lease.

Either ridiculously unlucky or you're really bad at keeping laptops alive. I've had a fine dell for 5 years now
#35
I have used this company before several times. they have been excellent. very easy to return items. But the laptops have been decent. Bought 5 and returned 2 before. £172 for a dell latitude with this spec is good enough in my books. Heat added and thanks op.
#36
very tempted but the few negative remarks above has slightly put me of....

Heat :)

64 or 32 bit windows, listing showing 32 bit ?
