Yeah just read reviews seems to be ok.

What are refurb models from Argos like?
#7
Are you sure this is real? It says as the category for this

* Everything Else >
* Test Auctions >
* eBay UK Tests - DO NOT BID

Or do they put them in here before they release them?
#8
anyone noticed the category its in "test auctions do not bid" this item does not show up in the sellers listing????

however my one arrived this morning 24hrs after winning good condition boxed
#9
Excellent price - worth a go anyway. Wanderer, when you say "good condition" would you say it was "as new"?

I`ve bought this model plus a Eee PC and both were like new ,but packaging was i bit tacky.
#11
Bought one last time - it was also in the 'do not bid' category.

Order went through fine, arrived in 3 days, not a mark on the machine, no problem with it at all, just installed Office 2010 and it runs fine.
#12
Gonna get hot hot hot...
#13
Thanks
#14
26 left do I buy BF one or not hmmmm what to do
#15
If they get any cheaper than this they'll be paying us to have them!
#16
17 left still undecided
#17
Got two of these already. Great to mess about on. HOT HOT HOT
#18
Got an MSI Wind U130 from the same place about 4 months ago, brand new packaging had been opened as expected and it's flying along... I did do a system reset before using it and added a GB of RAM but I don't think it was really necessary but it only cost an extra £10... this seems a really great price for a netbook.

If you get a good working item from Argos Clearance then you will have got yourself a bargain, but if you have a problem or want to try and use the '12 month warranty' then you will have a lot less hair on your head!
They are run separate from Argos, and there is a reason there feedback percentage has dropped by 1% in the past two months, and that's customer service....there is none!

great reviews on argos where it's £180, in other reviews battery gets up to 4 hours with light use, i'd personally go for it.

#24
all gone :(

Got one last week from this seller. Arrived in 2 days and works perfectly. Box was even undamaged.
These never seem to get hot because they sell out before they can generate it.
If you got one well done!

Just so you know for the future, when it says "more then 10 available" there could still be 10,000 left! I think that is what you were referring to anyway

"Laugh out loud" What's funny?
Yeah the seller was Argos clearance through ebay.
What's the point of posting a comment about how good their service was if I don't tell people where I got it from.
#32

Calm down, just thought it was funny how you referred to the Argos outlet as if it was a random eBay member, that's all ;)

"can you not just send back and open dispute if its not as described ,as long as you have proof of return then paypal will return your money"

Yes you can do that, but it takes weeks before you get your money back (and i mean weeks as they drag there heels at every stage and you have to prove they are in the wrong with paypal) and they never reply to either ebay messages or a paypal claim...but they can take the time to reply to there negative feedback?

Mine didnt work either, although I could see the camera in the device manager so I uninstalled it from there. Then windows automatically installed the new driver and the camera worked.

I dont know if this is any help but most of the drivers can be found here. I cant see a camera driver listed though...
#39
Perhaps I missed it in the device manager...what category are you seeing it under please?

I think it was either 'vimicro USB' or 'USB Camera'. From memory it was quite near the top of the Device Manager list.
I cant check for you as I've now sent my Netbook back.
