Customer Reviews on this Product
David (13/11/2009)
Can't believe there are not more reviews on this terrible piece of kit. It only has 128Mb memory, so struggles to do the simplest task. The video player simply doesn't work. Internet Explorer version is so old that many web pages cannot be displayed. If it tries to display anything more than the simplest of web pages, it runs out of memory and grinds to a halt, necessitating a reboot.

Bought one yesterday and seemed a nice little gizmo until I tried to use keyboard, only to find a number of keys did not work.

To be fair to the crude voters though the reviews that you've cut and pasted into your OP are not particularly favourable!:whistling:

My daughter plays all sorts of games at abcarcade and the like. I'm sure you could on this, therefore you can play games on the internet with this. Just a lazy, couldn't care less Maplin response.

You have one of these things???

You do know its not like a laptop or even a netbook. Its more like a phone than anything else.
#14
Don't be ridiculous, she has a PC like normal people.
#15
I would wholly recommend you avoid these cheap netbooks.

My boss ordered a couple of these the other day for his kids as 'cheap' Xmas pressies to surf the net and play 'flash games'. Surfing the net, cable fed was a tedious affair. As for flash its a no go for Windows CE. Couldn't even get it to read a USB stick.

Back they went - going to order a couple of Acer Aspire D150-1BB from Ebuyer as soon as in stock.

Geeza

Pretty sure these dont support Flash, therefore of no use on most modern websites especially education / CBBC / Disney etc which have large amounts of flash content.

What? This isn't a site for sharing cuddles, it's to help people find bargains, which this thing is emphatically not.

To anyone wondering why people are being so harsh, spunk £100 on one then come back to tell us all the things that you suddenly find it won't do. It is *NOT* a PC and won't do half the things you expect to be able to achieve with it.

Get a refurb/outlet netbook, any one, for about £50 more and it will be far more useful and last you longer.

Edit: £139.92 delivered for a proper netbook.
