noooooooooo. don't touch it. I bought 2 for my kids and they are shocking. both freeze, touch screen is terrible and off centre, randomly stop working and just generally utter garbage. please save your money and sorry to jump on your post.
tesco will not take these back. the technical guru on the desk plays with it and if it won't freeze whilst he's checking it there and then , he says there's nothing they can do. soooooo disappointed.

Have the 8" version. Good cheap Windows tablet. Perfect for browsing, Facebook, reading books etc with the benefit of being able to use the desktop windows versions of apps like Chrome. HDMI output makes it ideal as a Kodi box when you team it up with a bluetooth keyboard/mouse. The screen res isn't the highest, but it's passable for basic tasks and watching video.

As for MRGRINGO saying Tesco won't take them back. Absolute rubbish, you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 so they have to take any goods back that meet the criteria.

I bought one yesterday. It seems fine from a functionality point of view, but battery life is a worry. I set it up, then the battery died. Charged it up, ran some firmware updates, installed a few apps, and the battery died again. I gave it another charge last night, but I don't know how long it will last. Hopefully it will improve once it settles down. If not, I may have to return it. I wonder if the 10 inch model is any better?

Has anyone found a decent case for this? I've seen generic ones on Ebay and Amazon, but nothing made for this tablet, with the correct cutouts, etc. Even Tesco don't do one, as far as I can see.

Can you install anything else on these, such as a Linux distro?

I've not tried to do this, but you should be able to do it from an external drive, bootable USB stick, etc.
