Just noticed it says this under the winnie the pooh item;

Buy any two Winnie The Pooh items shown below and get a free 10 inch Plush toy. To receive offer add two Winnie The Pooh items to your trolley. Please note the free item will be added to your order automatically and will not show in your trolley. Offer ends January 19th 2007.

So, theoretically, buy 2 of the items and get something else for nothing ;-) Don't know if they will honour it as the items have been reduced, but they should!

I have just reserved some of these at my local store, so should think they will be cheaper tomorrow?

And just a reminder that the voucher deal thingy is on again from tomorrow?

clicked on another WTP item to see if the offer showed for the story teller and it did, the cashier said that no offer showed on her till and it might be a send away offer, when i collected items and asked them they said they had no idea what i was talking about. printed pages off to take to them tomorrow to show what the offer is. I'm not happy, and i appologise for the wrong info above.
xx
#24
If you read the info carefully on the site it says something about "the free item will not appear in your basket" but will still be given.
My current hotel connection is too poor to find the exact wording tho :(

copied from website, posted on 1st post... Hope you get your bear ,let us know...
Just spoke to someone that works at Argos, they said to do exactly what your going to do,take reciept etc,as sometimes on the till they can press select option or total, and sometimes by mistake they select total,so it misses out the freebie.......hope this helps......

I did read it carefully that was why i asked for the free gift and checked at the till and saw the computer screen which did not show any free gift, also as i said i did ask again at the collection point, that was why i came back home to see if there was certain items that the free gift covered (ie. no free gift on sale items) as such the gift is still free and i did not get it,

my appologies if you were not being sarcastic, i'm in a bad mood and might have picked up what you said wrongly.

I
'll let you know how i got on.
brill deal, I told all the mums at my playgroup and toddler group and our area and surrounding areas have now gone out of stock, oops:whistling:

The Winnie The Pooh Screen Story Teller is not listed below, so no free plush toy.. I tried this.. but, to no avail. It's only on the items shown below the offer text.

thats what i thought at first Brown770, but if you click on any of the other WTP items and look again at the list below, the WTP story teller is in the list,

BTW any one know why it is called a SCREEN story teller, there is no screen, or am i missing something here:thinking: xx

it's a sort of mis-type. here are 2 versions of Winnie on Amazon site:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Winnie-Pooh-Screen-Story-Teller/dp/B000F46TEC/sr=11-1/qid=1164832845/ref=sr_11_1/203-4397479-9619937

The Argos offer is really The Story Teller.

Jo what I meant was you could have just reserved it the night before like I did & still pay the lower price when you collect, unless of course you were having it delivered.
