Good grief, a pair of gloves and four pair of treking socks later = another £55 I hadn't meant to spend till I took a random peak on HUKD.

The gloves pictured are great. I got them about a week ago and have done a couple of 0 degree rides in Cumbria since. My hands were lovely and warm.... I just need some warmer overshoes now.

I have a pair of their winter cycling gloves which are great, but didn't stop my hands freezing at -30C on a skimobile ;)

I need gloves that can be taken off and put back on again without the lining becoming ruffled/stuck. Seems that most gloves, these included, have such a loose thin lining they become impossible to take off / put on again in sweaty or damp conditions..........never used to have this problem years ago, the lining was sewn securely into the glove/fingers.
try wearing a very thin glove as an inner, that helps me

awesome. some socks ordered and voucher code successfully used.

Agree my sealskinz don't work below -22°c.

Many thanks OP, another pair of socks ordered plus I am going to try out the Nordic gloves.

Sealskinz used to be so much better. They are a manufacturer who established a good name and then followed it up with poor products as the reviews on this item show.

I would only consider the top end glove nowadays (the perfromance thermal). Available from Rutland Cycling for £19 if you've got monster hands.

I just bought some Gore cycle gloves 2 days ago from the deal I put up here. Already have a set of Sealskinz winter cycling gloves which are really good apart from the annoying liner that someone else mentioned. Now I look on HUKD and I've just bought 2 more pairs dammit. Well I suppose I may as well have a different glove for every minor weather eventuality.
