What little I managed to buy last year was good stuff.
Get there quick - or else buy all on ebay for three times the price. :)

Great my cycling gloves from aldi were wearing abit thin. Time for a new pair i guess
#3

Excellent, got drenched coming into work today, need some winter stuff

Some good deals. Have been suprised how good stuff from Lidl has been for the money.
Will probably try a couple of the cycling offers from Aldi. Gloves would be especially useful with winter approaching (get me out of here!)
Warmth and respect to poster.

perfect timing - was just looking this morning for some gear and this will do nicely. Heat from me

Anyone who's bought cycling things from ALDI before, what is their sizing like?
#11
I bought alot of equipment when Aldi had cycling clothes in stock earlier the year and i found their sizing to be spot on.

Will probably go for a Jacket, Shoes, trousers and gloves and pay about half of what you'd expect to pay in Halfords.
#12
think i'll try and get a few bits and pieces. cheers op.

Aldi sizing can be odd,I have some tights from last year that fitted well till the calves then were too big, and a gillet marked L40 which is actually 38. If in doubt buy both sizes and take the wrong one back, as all this stuff sells out quickly.

Rather than take the wrong one back, stick it on eBay. You always see Aldi stuff on there for about 3 times the price!

This is great, I got a top from lidl a few weeks ago, but i wanted some trousers and they only sold mens. A trip to aldi I think :)

there was a queue this morning in glasgow and it was a bit crazy trying to get things. by the time i left the store it looked like some stuff had sold out already.

really pleased with what i got but if the cycling trousers are as fleecy at the jackets then i'd have liked to get a pair of those as well but there only seemed to be small left by the time i got to them.

Went to Aldi in Fareham this morning on opening and picked up waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, fleece jacket and gloves all for £50 !

Stock did appear limited, about 50 items of each. Waterproof jackets and gloves selling out fast but they had lots of shoes, socks, shorts and shirts left.

Winter cycling done !

the shoes seemed to be the first things to go in glasgow. i didn't even bother trying for those because i can never get cycling shoes to fit my feet, never mind cheap ones.

merino tops were popular too.

I managed to get the merino top, the lightweight top and the mountain bike shorts, there was no sign of the lights in 2 of the aldi's, did anyone manage to get any led lights?
