I bought this for £4.99 (new) at the game store in Ocean Terminal (Edinburgh) yesterday. I couldn't see it posted previously. Wipeout HD is a great game and along with the Fury expansion this seems like a bargain.

I was looking last week and lots of places didn't seem to stock it and couldn't it for under about £17! It's £19.99 on Game's site. Even Cex have it at £22/£15 second hand.

Will go and look tomorrow. Cheers!

Got two copies!
#7
amazing price for a great racer
#8
I wouldn't call it a 'great' game but for this price it does represent excellent value and a must buy.
Voted hot.

Brilliant price, I paid full price on the PSN and it was well worth it. The expansion pack has some great game modes imo
#14
I already have teh game and addon but this is a great deal if you can find it in store (which I bet most people won't)
#15
christ, this is a bragain if you can get it. i paid 16 quid for it when i got my ps3 and was chuffed with it at that price.

a fiver is insane value for money.
#16
Really good price for a very good game. I too paid about £16.00 all-in, but that was on the PSN. Only downside to this edition is that you need the disc in to play.
#17
Bargain of the year.
#18
Great, great price. I just hope my local Game have some copies, I'm sure I see it in-store quite regularly.
#19
bargain. it cost me a lot more than that for the orginal game plus expansion pack, and i don't have the luxury of having it on a disc. for the sake of £5 it's worth getting it on a disc even if i already have the download
#20
Stonking game, and price! Hot!
#21
paid about 17 for it accidentally last year on PSN, load of crap tbh never played it nor the load of people who have tried it at mine.
#22
hmmm wonder if it'll be in the Prince St store. I find the game a bit difficult though!

Wipeout games are ment to be challenging. Since the first on one the original Playstation, the difficulty has kept me interested in it !!!!
#24
Gonna check my local store this morning and hopefully grab one
#25
Great bargain, already bought on the PSN store and the update too :)
#26
I already have the original game from PSN, how would it work as I'm only after the expansion, is there an option to install onto the hard drive but keep all your save game data?

Great Deal btw hot

Interested to know if anyone has found this in any Edinburgh store yet. Might pop up at lunchtime, but don't want a wasted trip......
#28
Can't find one in London. Guy in Islington branch said it's been deleted and they only would have old stock or second hand copies. Shame, but great deal if you can find one!
#29
None in Liverpool and as mentioned above I also got told in-store that it's deleted from their systems so no more copies will be sent to stores so hopefully some people will be lucky to find the odd copy in a shop

Might keep an eye out on the game website as still showing as normal price but may drop if it's being deleted

Just grabbed the last copy from the Hanley store, was £4.99! Great deal!

I got mine from the store on Oxford St (nearest Tube is Tottenham Court Road). They had loads tucked away on the shelf but they are only display boxes.
#32
I've always wanted to play this so might try to find it tomorrow :)
#33
The other thing is it's worth £10 trade in at CEX and if you ask gamestation to price match you'll get £11 trade in there so you can more than double your money assuming there's something you want in gamestation. I assume everyone on the planet is going to buy need for speed hot pursuit if you download the demo you'll realize how insanely immense it is.

Sweet! 3D action too!

I didn't like the demo, didn't think it was any better than hot pursuit 2 on the PS2 8 years ago... which was awesome but this version doesn't seem to have improved on it much at all, it's just a bit more like burnout now.

Loads of heat for this deal, wipeout is awesome and a bargain for a fiver.

Cheers! I'm not far from TCR either, so think I might pop in. Don't suppose they had the 99p Wolfenstein too, did they?

Thanks again!

I'm the exact same as I already had this from psn store, anyway with this one I had hoped to install the fury expansion along with my my existing wipeout and continue with my saves/scores etc.
It seems to seperate this from your d'loaded wipeout. If anyone knows how to merge the d'loaded one with this any info would be great.

I too have been playing wipeout since the original. I think I've always liked it because of the difficulty!
