A great post to start with. Get it bought,
sit back and watch some of the best TV
you will see in your life. A cracker of a
series but stick with it, it can seem just a
little slow at the beginning.

Got this from Best Buy for £40 last summer. Awesome. IMO better than the Sopranos.

Voted hot. Good price currently.

I've only watched the first series, and want to get the rest, but am waiting until it comes down some more

Thanks folks, have added them to a list to check out in the morning!

Season 1 is excellent, the rest are pretty boring. This show should not be mentioned in the same breath as either The Sopranos or Oz! (this post being an exception, of course :p)

Just finished watching this whole series for the 3rd time! Its the only show ive been able to watch more than once and for some strange reason its been better again this time than the time before!

Come on, it takes 10 episodes for anything interesting to happen in seasons 2, 3, 4 and 5! Granted when it does happen it's good, but it's boring waiting!

My intellect is not an issue. If you continue to question it I will be forced to have you, even if it must be BURGLARY

Watched 19 episodes of this and couldn't get into it. Tried my damnedest because almost everyone I know loved it but had to admit defeat in the end.

It just seemed kind of dated to me. Minus the story arc everything else about it screamed 90s cop show. Not a massive fan of that genre.

£35 in CEX too.

I prefer this to Oz and its on a par with Sopranos, I love anything police related though so that is why

Definitely not on par with The Sopranos, not even close. Am halfway through the second series and think thats as far as I'll go. Programmes like this are defined by their characters and quite frankly, the cast lack charisma. With The Sopranos, you can relate to the characters but in this you don't get the chance.

Dexter and breaking bad

DEXTER

Ah, you beat me to it. Started to watch it on FX when it was shown from the beginning - absolutely awesome series.

Sons Of Anarchy, Justified, Chicago Code to keep addicted.

Just on my third trip through the whole series again..................A M A Z I N G!!!

I was told this would be the best TV I would ever watch. Personally I found it too slow and rarely exciting, not a patch on the Shield. Only through season 1 of it so far though, but by others comments that sounds like the best season. Hot deal though.
#33
Just ordered this - I've been waiting for the price to come down again - thanks for posting.
#34
Finally given in and ordered it, but for the same price from Tesco as posted earlier, TCB and ClubCard points.
