can these be used with my 40" sony lcd wirelessly?

Just to let people know that these will not work for your PS3 http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-General/Bluetooth-Headset-Guide/m-p/26900460

The bluetooth function on the PS3 is only for carrying the chat but not game music and sounds etc . I got a standard pair of wireless (not bluetooth) headphones and they work great on the PC , TV but i cant work out a way of getting the running for the PS3 .

Voted hot though as these are a great price , feel like im pi**ing on the parade but just thought i should warn of the PS3 issue though .
#3
Looks like its the OP thats of the opinion that these are compatible with the PS3, as theres no mention of PS3 compatability in the link.
Title therefore surely needs changing ?

Still hot though IMO, as its the cheapest Bluetooth headphones I've seen.
#4
I have these headphones and they can be used as a HEADSET on the ps3....for games such as COD or talking to people online however i can clarify that you cannot listen to music or gameplay music through these as the ps3 doesnt support this yet...
#5
whats sound quality like?
#6
I have these and they are well worth the money. They only need charging every other day and I use mine for 8 hours a day solid connected to my phone streaming mp3s. The sound quality is very good indeed and they are surprisingly well made with hinged neck band and comfortably padded earpieces. They can be charged from any USB port using the supplied cable and come in a nice faux suede carrying bag. Bargain!
#7
lol 'SPORTY LOOK!" - definitely a great price for these if they perform well. Hawt!

I have the Sony headphones that are made for the PS3, and they don't do what you would like them to do either, so your post is absolute rubbish.

I would like to listen to the radio on my mobile phone whilst using bluetooth headset, I currently have a platronics bluetooth and am unable to listen to the radio, is this because it is bluetooth?
If these would work then Im off to buy a set. Would be grateful if anyone has an answer.
#10
These look rather handy, from a multi-functional POV though, how would they hook up to a PC? I assume some kinda USB Bluetooth dongle would be required?

Also where is the mic?
#11
Thanks. Ordered. No more getting wire caught on the lawn mower handles...

On my phone you have to use wired headphones to listen to the radio as the wire is the ariel. On my latest phone HTC touch I can get wireless radio by streaming it from the web.

I think a lot of handsets use the wire from your headphones as the radio antenna, so a wireless headset will prevent the device from picking up any signal.
#14
@ com88fort usually most phones require you to have a wired headset attached to use as an aerial although some will let you do both ie phone in pocket with wired headset listening with bluetooth. Also if you to listen at decent quality you would need to check that your bluetooth headset and phone supported A2DP. @evangelicon yes you would need a bluetooth dongle and most of the cheap ones don't come with a stack which supports A2DP so you don't get decent quality music.
Edit took too long typing

Can you jog with them on?

MinerW - I use wireless headphones on PS3 also, - PS3 game sounds come thro' your TV/theatre sound speakers, so to make your wireless headphones work, simply plug your wireless headphone transmitter into the headphone socket on TV ;-)

thanks, ordrered a set. The reveiws say there give a decent sound quality. Hope they do, or they'll be on ebay next week lol

Im pretty sure all you would be able to hear is the chat of other people and the game sounds would still be coming through the TV .
If im wrong then and its possible to hear the game then great , i will order my self some .

Vice versa....they WORK as a HEADSET for games such as cod so you CAN talk back, it has a built in microphone, this can be said assertively as i have these headphones and they are GREAT!

Will only work on ps3 with full in game sound if u buy a compatible Bluetooth USB dongle which are hard to find,my friend bought one from America but is was £59.99 so not really worth it for a cheap pair headphones only if u have a decent pair
#23
Ordered two !
#24
Will they work with an ipod touch?
#25
Yes they will work with an ipod gen aslong as its not the first ipod touch that ever came out...

I got these yesterday in the post after needing something bit better than the mono speaker on my netbook.

They are not bad sound quality for what they are bluetooth headphones at £14.99.

I had to buy this dongle because it supports A2DP Stereo Streaming which I think the 99p ones do not.

Headphones work great when the bandwidth is used for just sound, you need to go into the Toshiba supplied Bluetooth stack that comes with the dongle and select mic and headphones and the sound quality is greatly reduced to get microphone working same time.

Mics not a problem for me can use the one built into my netbook and I'l have better quality sound.

It comes with a carry pouch and is charged via USB with the cable supplied.

I too would like to know how heavy they are and if they fit snug, basically can you jog/gym with them?

Nevermind, I found some specs for a set of popular jogging BT headphones the Motorola S9-HD and they're about 1.14 ounces = 32.3g
These ones are 71.2g, twice as heavy.
#28
voted hot - ordered for use with my netbook and HTC HD2 - both of which were purchases as a result of this site!! curse HUKD - I'll be bankrupt soon.
#29
is the bass any good on these or are they a bit tinny?
#30
been posted before.

i have bought a pair and they are very good quality, only down side is that it takes a few rimes for it to connect to my laptop. but once paired it is good,. worth buying.

Does that mean the 1st generation ipod touch? Because that's what I've got. :(
#32
got one of these for £9.99 from 7dayshop before, it is pretty good so long as you keep the distance seasonably far.
#33
Will this work with a 3gen iPod touch?
#34
i bought these when this deal was posted a couple of months ago.

They are very good, however, when i use them to listen to music on my phone when walking/jogging etc, they tend to lose connection briefly, quite often. Kind of like a skipping cd.

This only happens when the phone is in my pocket, so i guess it cant maintain a decent connection whilst moving, which is a bummer.

Has anyone else found this problem?

I think the Joggler I bought will have ANDROID or Mer or Ubuntu UNR on it pretty soon
when it does I will use it as a VOIP phone with this

good deal

I was thinking of using them with an ebay dongle which would plug into the headphone out on the tv or amp so I could use them with a ps3 and not just have voice chat

Mod edit: Ebay short link removed as we dont allow linking to ebay

Yes, I got these when they were posted several months back - ended up returning them as the bluetooth range / connection was very poor with frequent cut outs in audio.

received mine today and found a similar problem with my HTC HD2 - both when the phone was stationary & I was moving and when I was moving with the phone in my pocket. Got to say the sound quality is great though. Comfortable fit and lightweight so overall I think a good product for the price- voted hot.

Can anyone recommend a decent cheap bluetooth dongle for use with :
a Panasonic Viera TV (so I can use the headphones when playing PS3)
a Toshibe NB200 netbook (though bluetooth was built in but apparantely not).

Thanks in advance.

Completely agree with that. My Toshiba TG01 smartphone can't keep a signal even with me holding it right next to my headset. Sound quality is great but this makes them completely useless. I wish the posters on page 3 had posted before I ordered, the reviews seemed great up to that point. Grr... so annoyed - I hope 7dayshop have a good return policy for utterly useless items - definitely not fit for the purpose for which it was sold.
