I haven't voted either way, but wonder whether it is worth paying a couple of pound or so more for one that has fewer restrictions on frequency.

I think that the one at the top of this thread only has four presets, while these ones for instance:

...can broadcast on a wide range of frequencies.

I ve voted warm as this is a good price for something like this.

But I have had a few of these now, and I don't know why but I ve tried all sorts of frequencies and the sound quality is still terrible?

Any experts out there with these that can offer some help?

Thanks

I've just ordered one of these instead as the reviews were very good.

I'll let you know what I think when it arrives.

I bought 1 that looks identical off ebay a few days ago (4 quid delivered), works quite well at home if it's within a few feet of the receiver, not tried it in the car though. Only thing is I had to take the batteries out to switch it off. Some others on ebay that also look identical to mine DO have switches though. Can someone let us know whether or not you can turn these one's off please.

Cheers... Just ordered one ;D

Great price - great as stocking filler!

Poor sound quality even for the price. Unless you like listening to your iPod on AM....

COLD.

I got this identical item from fleabay last week for £4 delivered, it works well in my car with little interference, however not so well in the wife's, this is with battery power, when using the 12v supply it is quite frankly rubbish, if you are getting one I would also invest in 2 AAA rechargeable batteries.

I voted cold as the sound quality from these is unbelievably bad, you need to hold the ipod and the wee gizmo up near the car aerial to get any kind of decent sound. Good idea, but a waste of even a paltry amount of money

There is a better one for under £4 delivered :
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.625

Its $8 which comes just under £4 when paypal converts it to pounds. Delivery is free ( it usually take between 1 and 2 weeks from these as they ship from hong kong).
They have lots of other models too.

Voted Hot. I've had one of these for a long time now and so have relatives. Sound quality not a problem either in the car or at home (up to 10m).
