Cheapest elsewhere is £95+.

Still had plenty when we went to the new store at Lakeside yesterday afternoon, and we were led to believe they would get more stock today anyway.

Seems best buy site has zero info on products no product listings nor any reserve function or local stock function of any kind, making it seem awkwardly backward reminiscent to websites/stores similar to that of the 1990's where stock/sales/web systems were not integrated.

Best Buy need to look at Currys/Argos/Ebuyer and improve, quickly.

Be careful not to create merchants that already exist on our database. It causes a lot of problems.

The UK website is not up and running yet but assume this will be online shortly. if you look at the US website you should get a good taste of things to come in the UK.

I appreciate this is not very practical as instore only but if you are within 1 hour driver, it's well worth a visit/day out.

I cant work out why they need a website if they're not going to show their product range and prices. Most odd.

Best Buy has been in the UK for a little over 48 hours and we are already getting on their backs

The reason Best Buy dont have a fully functional website yet is due to the fact that currently they only have 1 store open on the UK. The webiste is there just to provide corporate information. There should be 4 stores in the UK by the end of the summer. Then the website will be fully live from around september for web orders.

Your nick, your join date and your post timing all incidate you work for BB maybe?

If the OP had mentioned the HP model number, possibly giving a link to HP, mentioned it's instore only, had said website is not fully up and had also said they only have one store open, in Thurrock, I think people would a) of been more informed b) not of had high expectations the result is due to a huge lack of information in OP normal expectations of Currys/Comet rival were present on this deal and we're all disappointed as a result :)

Ah in time for using World Cup for PR and expansion in time for Christmas I assume, always nice for competition to improve, as to whether they will be any good is another matter. The Americans I know aren't all praising of Best Buy
