Probably made in the same factory, it's just has a nice logo on for more money:roll:
Recently purchased one of these after my last Wifi stick broke, and I can honestly say its perfect and half the size of my old wifi stick. If you are in the market for a cheap wifi stick and don't want to spend a fortune then this is a good deal.

My cable broadband is 10 meg and this stick copes perfectly, being only slightly slower than a direct cable link to the modem.

Just waiting for wifi sticks to become the size of the mini bluetooth sticks now!.
There were ones with the RT73 chipset posted for around the same price. Much better chipset in terms of range and speed, not to mention functionality.

Bear in mind that going from wired to wireless will probably result in a reduction of speed. True, the average uk connection is something in the region of 3.5mbit, but plenty of us have 20mbit+, and 54mbit wi-fi will almost never perform at that speed, even without interfering networks nearby, and feet from the router.

Then there's the issue of internal transfers being much slower via wi-fi than via ethernet.

not voting either way, but there are better deals out there if all you want is *A* wi-fi dongle, not specifically this one.
@ WG47 I bow to your greater knowledge of all things WIFI, any links to the better deals than £7.99 delivered?
The smallest USB dongle I have seen is this 802.11n compliant micro dongle from Edimax

usually retails for about £18, but it is tiny.
Cheers for the heads up on the mini wifi, managed to find it on Amazon for £13.99

Bit of a delay, but:

DX isn't loading for me, but those links are from a previously posted deal.
