I hope the guy over the road gets one. I'll buy one just for the transmitter. I could have hours of fun. Saves waiting for all the free wild flower seeds to start sprouting through his pristine lawn. :p

Kodi pre-installed Lidl doorbells would be £26.99 - at current Kodi pre-installed Amazon Fire Device market rates X)

That hormones not hearing.

Science has proved the evolution of moving from one core unit to another, family bonding is replaced with bonding with people in a similar situation as the individual - others with hormones running high, if you are lucky and had two or more kids near the same biological changes the family bond can be stronger as a unit compared to large age differences. They have also proven extra sleep as body and brain grow is priority as is the need to be organised the night before because the mind and lack of sleep make early mornings unbearable for the sufferer.

Approach children hormones like menopause/monthly cycle because they are not too dissimilar, loads of reassurance, support, calmness and never lose your temper as behaviour breeds behaviour esp in hormonal teenagers, now you really have to be the adult! lol Bite that tongue, or receive some nasty tongue. Ensure child knows you have been through all this yourself and have experience and nothing they want to talk about will shock you, you have been there and done it all.

Best of luck, at 12 its just starting and goes on for years...its not like menopause where medication is available.

A doorbell will just agitate, best going to the stairs and dont shout ask calmly and politely they come see you, communicate face to face only, if they cant hear you then walk up stairs because at your age and further demise it is good exercise anyway. Approach animals new lair with care, always knock and ask them to come down to the old lair (family home/unit) as soon as they can as you want to have a (calm) conversation, the lair door either side is not a place for communications as much as a mobile phone is in a cave/highlands for either party, unless they are upset and you ask for authorisation, which if denied is best just to tell them you love them and I will be 'wherever' when/if you want to talk :)

Lastly use the wireless door bell to signal to your other half you are now off parent duty and it is their shift :)

Happy 2017 btw ;)

Can you buy two (or more) and then run them off the same button.
(E.g. press one button to make them all ring)

Thanks!

So is it plug in or is it wireless?

Both lol - the receive plugs into the wall to power it but the connection between the button (door bell) and the receiver (plugged indoors) is wireless, i.e. without cable :)

What I want is one transmitter (doorbell button) plus multiple receivers (bells/chimes/whatevers) - so I can have a receiver in the kitchen, another in the bedroom, and another in the study...

Is that possible?
