Not bad csi, but there's only 1 in the pack. Personally I'd buy several so it'd be cheaper to buy in a pack of 3 or 4.

Great little devices these though.

EDIT: Didn't realise the p&p made up so much of the order, good deal, voted hot.

LOL - how can you compare the two :whistling: For people who only want one socket, this is an unbeatable price not to mention if you buy other things on there (some good bargains.

I paid £14.99 for 2 plugs and remote from tescos (1 for my lounge - 7 plugs and the other sits in the cupboard doing nothing!).

If you even bothered to check, you'll see this is 1 plug & 1 remote for £1.99

so you could get 4 of them for £7.99 less discount of 15% plus P&P of £3.99 = £10.80

beats your £12.99 and you'll have 4 remotes!

Didn't realise that p&p made up most of the price. In that case if you're buying several it works out at a good price.

Do these dim?

If not then the set from ebuyer may be better if you're after dimmers/

EDIT: They look the same as the ebuyer ones so they should dim. Not so good if you want them connected to anything other than lamps though.

If you want a few then ebuyer may still work out cheaper depending on shipping/current price. You do get lots of remotes from here though.

Tempted to buy!

Assuming they're the same as the ebuyer ones (they look identical) then they dim. And unfortunately you can't really stop them dimming because of the way the remote works. With the others I've used you can just not use the dim button and you should be ok. But with these the dim function is controlled using the "on" button. Which means that at some point you're going to dim by mistake. Personally I wouldn't want to dim anything other than a lamp, imagine putting the wrong voltage through your tv, don't think it'd do it any good.

Take the Tesco ones back, I got some spare in case you wanted some to save on delivery cost. If using for anything other than a lamp I'd avoid though.

They look identical to the ebuyer ones, but these don't dim. They just arrived a minute ago.

Kinda glad they don't dim as it makes them more useful for other stuff, although I may upgrade to a set that lets you do "all off" and "all on".
