eBuyer last Autumn did sell a bargain box with this function (ie AP Client linking a gaming PC's Ethernet port onto your home WLAN) and I picked up 3 of them at £14.99 for self/friend - but just looked again at eBuyer thinking it would be a better deal for you all - only to find eBuyer has now priced them at £39.99 each ?!?!? So kudos for finding a £26 box in today's marketplace!
£27.20 delivered from Amazon and £24.94 delivered from Amazon Marketplace.

Edimax product page

Yes these are great, work as a client and will act as a repeater for virtually al types of 802.11g access points. I have one and it forwards the signal to my neighbours house just fine. Perfect for increasing the range of your wireless network.

However you do need to know such things as how to set a static ip address to your computer to set it up. There is no wizard software. If you are happy with this though there are guides on their website which make it fairly easy. But its not really plug and play.

Also I won't vote hot as while this is about the cheapest price this is available for it at this moment in time it has been cheaper before now. Was about £23 at amazon for most of this year. Perhaps the low currency has hit it. Or it may drop down in price again.

But they are great highly versatile gadgets.
Hi There does anyone know if this will work with WPA incryption

My pleasure.
Got mine today. Absolutely fantastic device.

I'm using it to extend my wireless network so it now covers the whole house.

I've also connected an old pc I have to it via CAT5 (as the PC doesn't have a wireless card).

Was toying with paying for a wireless card and a repeater separately but this has done both.

Excellent device!

Got this router from Amazon and can confirm it works great with xbox360 and 02 wireless router.
setup info here.

Having a quick look at the manual
1.Station Infrastructure Mode.
2.Same Ch and SSID as your Netgear.
3.Clone the MAC address of XBOX into the WLAN MAC.

Didn't need to clone the WLAN MAC though, happy days.
