I don't see why not.
Windows ME is compatible with wireless networking, as long as you have a usb port to plug the adaptor into then you should be fine.

Good price OP, I paid double this for a similar adapter two weeks ago. Do you still have to pay delivery if you have it delivered for store pick up? If so then that makes it a bit pricey but it would be a good filler item to get free delivery on something else.

I like the rounded end too, good when used with a laptop as it doesn't catch on things as easily as a square ended adaptor.

could this be used with a xbox for a wireless connecton?

Generally you would use this to access your own wireless router within your home to access the internet (Broadband) or connect into wireless access points at various locations & stores i.e. Heathrow Airport. I assume from the wording of your post your looking for mobile internet access - is that correct?

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

No you can only use the official xbox wireless adaptor through the usb on your xbox as it has the relevant software preloaded so that the adaptor will work - the only other thing you can use is a wireless bridge which can plug to the ethernet port on your xbox and into a wall socket to create the connection these can be picked up for slightly less than a official usb adaptor but in my experiance it is worth the money for the official one for ease of use and tidiness.

you would need a me driver, dont think me is supported these days, One of ms's biggest flops in the os area.

is it not better to go for a linksys or a netgear brand than this non branded stuff?

wireless usb adapters normally start to die after a certain period

wonder how long these would last, and if it can actually hold a connection without dropping every min
