sorted bybut you cant resell PC games
if you consider the price for an preorder for the game like the witcher 3, this is pretty decent imo. some gamers prefer to play on the first day rather than wait for months for a price drop, this post is for them.
It's hot cause it's the cheapest price availabvle now, thats how this site works no? Everything on this website will be cheaper in months following... so using your system, nothing is hot unless it's yesterday's news?
My point wasn't that it wasn't the lowest price though, was it.
and to play it you need to spend £1500+ on a decent enough rig to enjoy it.... ouch.
lol...no.
the DLC are free with every copy, this is the same product
Expansions that each have at least 5 times the playtime as The Order 1886
Congrats So jealous now lol
+1

I agree the gameplay really looks awesome.
honestly it doesnt say that its a day 1 edition, so i have no idea. but i doubt there is any difference between day 1 edition and the normal preorder cos you are gonna get all the 16 DLC for free and also there is no change in the contents of the day 1 edition and the normal one, as far as i know.
i have not been charged yet, so i guess on dispatch
check it out here thewitcher.com/wit…r3/ confirmed free 16 dlc
Fair point. Ideal for people who plan to complete a game and re-sell it quite fast. Although that's presuming it's a digital download for PC, instead of a CD, which in this case it is. Personally i prefer to pay less in the first place because im the type that keeps my games, and takes ages to complete them. By the time their complete the value would be super low. Majority of games nowdays contain multiplayer, so a game is never complete, therefore nice to keep.

I'll wait for this until I have more time as it's single player, by then it'll hopefully have dropped a bit.
Heat for the current price though, £40 is the kind of price I like to see for pre-orders, especially as its apparently gonna be a huge game.

Well I for one would like to know the lowest price right now.
I would not agree considering the way this title has so quickly dropped on other platforms but I appreciate this answer more than ones who didn't see the points I was making.

This title has been dropped quickly on other platforms, really? I don't get it?? I am console gamer by the way.
£1500 just to play it? I built a pc for around £600 that can max every single game out, at 60fps 1080p. For £1500 you could stretch to 4K with 60FPS. It's a great shame people think it's super expensive when actually it works out cheaper in the long run. Initially it costs more but it's going to pay off in the long run.
Only cheaper on PC. That's just normal though

They're releasing small pieces of DLC, such as cosmetic items, for free, but they've already announced 2 expansions which add around 30 hours of gameplay, and cost around £20 for both
I think they delayed it before for polish so I have a good feeling it will be really solid and low on bugs/glitches but yeah it will be more enjoyable playing this cosy in the autumn/winter than now-summer
