The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt PC £7.63 @ GOG [Via VPN]

£7.63 @ GOG.com
The Witcher 3 Wild hunt on PC. A great game you can waste hours on and the best price I have seen. You will Need to visit GOG and use a free VPN (I used HOLA on firefox) to connect to Russia.

Surprised no one's mentioned the 72p Amazon price glitch yet :p
shhh. somebody might ask what's the 72p glitch
Tell me god damn it

It was a cold, dark January... The winter waters had begun to recede and Amazon presided over their flock. What should we do Sire? The sheep are cold and their wool is sodden.

We must go to them of course, a voice beckoned. Take whatever you require to ease their suffering. Laden with gifts the Amazonian troops set out into the bleak, bitter cold, issuing discounted keys for recent hit titles such as: The Witcher 3, Dirt Rally, F1 2016 and Just Cause 3. Surely this act of generosity would bring delight to all?

And it did, however the strain was too much. Halt! boomed their illustrious leader, we cannot continue discounting these keys, the Royal vaults are perilously low. And so as quickly as it came, the lifeline to the people was cruelly withdrawn. But for a brief moment the sheep were happy and the Master's generosity will always live on in their memories.

I bought a russian copy of The Witcher 3 via vpn on release, still have the game now.

Excellent game and heat for the price, I got it slightly cheaper but we don't have time machines.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't work if you've already bought something through GoG previously.

Can I just caution against using HOLA? Quite apart from the scumming arsebiscuits that run it (and turn your browser into part of a rentable botnet)...

Routing online purchasing through a random person's (potentially malicious) connection is unwise.

Isn't this also VAT tax evasion? Is this sort of deal allowed on here? Didn't G2A get in all sorts of trouble for not including tax...

No but no but when downloaded you can link to steam.

This is not a deal, it's just a diluted form of piracy where you pretend to be in a different region to buy a key you shouldn't have access to. I don't condone piracy, but if you're going to break the rules, you may as well just pirate the game and get it completely free. Buy it at the best price on offer from legitimate retailers in your region, or don't buy it at all. Cold from me.

They're a legit dealer and used to have a non-gouging regional price policy whatsit that meant prices were equal across regions (via credit back). But thanks for your opinion

Sorry, I didn't mean to give the impression GOG are not a legit retailer, though I can see how that would come across. I am a GOG customer myself and know they are legit. Their UK price for The Witcher 3 is £17.49. This is a UK deals site. Pay GOG £17.49 or don't buy it from GOG. Pretending to be in Russia to buy it at a different price is NOT a legitimate way to get the game, you are just paying to pirate the game.

I'm getting $12.49 via Ukrainian server via Cyberghost. People who reported doing the same successfully, what price did you pay?

Did the same but no joy. The screenshot shows the website in Russian so I may be doing something wrong.

Follow instructions exactly like op states and it should be in English , although if in Russian and price states 609 roubles then you have it just purchase and it will come up on your account in English

Tell you what - when companies start pricing things ethically, I'll behave ethically. GOG are the worst of them; they claim to have fair, regional pricing - yet there's a amssive disparity between us paying £40-60 for a game, while the russians and brazillians get to pay pennies.

Hola is very dodgy to use. I wouldn't recommend using it. It basically allows dark web connection through your PC. For purchases like this I'd recommend Vypr VPN.

When did I tell anyone to behave ethically? What I said was, this is not a deal because it's not a legitimate way of purchasing the product. Shall I start posting Pirate Bay 'deals' - "get GTA V for £0, lowest price I've seen"?!

One of these is not like the other. Buying games cheaper is not piracy in any way, shape or form - They're getting money for the product, alebit the margin they should be getting for charging and even price instead of fleecing people in countries like the US, UK and Australia.

Alternatively, don't use VPN and give them the money they deserve for a fantastic game that is still an absolute bargain at £17.49.

I'll confess, I did actually buy it using a VPN at launch, first time I've ever done that, I didn't know much about the witcher games and didn't know if I'd like it and decided I'd take a punt at that reduced price. But I genuinely felt guilty especially as it turned out to be one of my favourite games ever. I purchased the expansion pass full price from GOG without a VPN.

I've learnt from the error of my ways, its funny to read how people justify it though.

Sorry but what you're saying is complete nonsense. The studio and developers get pennies for each key sold.
Buying over VPN is cheating but it is cheating a pricing policy which isn't exactly fair in the first place. It's not piracy and not stealing.
You find it funny how people justify it. I find it funny how paying more for a game makes you feel morally superior to others.
Each to their own.
