Small, speedy and superb looking, the WMF 1 is a both a filter coffee machine and a design object. It makes one 125ml cup of fresh coffee in under a minute. The integrated water tank contains just the amount of water you need for one cup. Fill the WMF 1s reservoir up to the max mark, open the coffee holder and fill with a coffee pad. Place the porcelain cup (supplied) in the neat recess and press the release button. When the light stops flashing, your freshly-brewed cup of coffee will be ready.

You could probably save quite a bit on energy bills with this if you regularly make single cups of coffee. Not sure if it would be more efficient when you're making a few cups though.

Also not sure if I'd invest in something like this though because you'll probably have to buy extra cups from WMF and - though I admit I have no idea - I presume coffee pad/pod/bags are more expensive than regular instant coffee in a jar.

Ignoring the cost I guess the main selling point is that it's quick coffee and would be stylish if you like the iPod-type minimalist design.
This has been posted loads of times at the same price so cold from me although I bought one first time around and do recommend it.
posted last week i think - as i have already said - antique of the future!! - flog it here we come:-D
I want to buy but they've stopped selling the matching cups and I know I'll end up breaking it so I wanted a couple of spares. Can you buy them elsewhere?
Are they noisy when being operated?
