Cabernet Merlot and Chardonnay
Both down to £3.00 for a few days from tomorrow.....
Definately online, pretty sure it must be instore aswell..

No expert but these are definately worth 3 quid compared to some of the crap I've had.

Not sure these type of wine deals are money saving though, I just drink more....

great price for a decent wine

Sounds excellent, but like you, I don't save money, I just buy/drink more!
#3
Yes well worth £3. Thanks for posting , must be Lambrini drinkers voting it cold ;-)
#4
Nice wine and great price. Thank you :)
#5
Decent wine - worth 3 notes no problem.
#6
Brilliant offer, brilliant wine - hot - thanks:)
#7
Heat and rep ... thanks :-)
#8
Great, might have to go order some of that!

would def pay the old 3 notes for this, but would rather pay 5 quid with bargain booze at present for yellow label wolf blass. each to their own!!!!!!!
banned#10
The rosé is in the deal too, according to tesco.com

Of the three wines it is the most palatable. The red is okay but I'm not a fan of their chardonnay (I prefer the French style)

Got to agree, this is a hot deal but the yellow label is my choice for a fiver!

Clearly yellow label is superior, I don't understand why people even say stuff like the comments here. Its like seeing ... silver earrings on sale, and saying "oh gewd if you like that sort of thing, platinum girl myself".

The Cabernet Merlot is lovely if youre a merlot fan! I love that Wolf Blass is much more affordable nowadays, and on special offers. Ten years ago it was a nightmare to find it, and you didn't get much change from £8 a bottle.
#13
£3 is a pretty good deal for a quaffing plonk - had to go for a couple of cases with some bargain Stella to make up the delivery - can't let their vans run around empty.;-)

My liver salutes you:thumbsup:

Decent wine - worth 3 notes no problem.

"Notes" you must be old.:w00t:

The Tesco website still seems to be showing this wine at £4.27 a bottle?
#19
Have a great, long term relationship with Yellow Label but no bargain booze in my locality. Therefore eaglehawk @ £3 per bottle is a good alternative at the moment if you get on okay with Merlot.

I'll stick with chemical juice thanks as whatever you drink is obviously affecting your keyboard and spellchecker!!

As PaulB stated above, Tesco website is showing these wines at £25.59/case which is £4.27/bottle.

-I've clicked the link in the post......it takes me to the Tesco homepage. I click 'wines' and search for Wolf Blass Eaglehawk.......but it's coming up as £4.27/bottle?

ahhhh - found it. DO NOT click the Wines link to the link to the right on the homepage.....click Groceries on the left (doesn't really make sense to me why the prices would differ, but whatever)
#27
Again this deal is not available in the Poole store (fleetsbridge)? as with the after eight mints

Yes I was. Although to be fair, when I clicked on the "Go to deal" button, I was presented with the Tesco Wines link. Thanks anyway, got the correct deal now.
#29
Surely Tesco will be coming out with their £15 off a £50 spend at their wine store as it's nearly Christmas. I'm waiting for that.
#30
Not bad gear for the price. Just bought 6 at local Tesco Thanks Voted Hot. (remember if you buy 6 its another 5% off)

Think this has gone off on a tangent? I presumed the realslimkaty was having a go at me and another poster for daring to say that we liked the yellow label better and pointing out it was only £5 in Bargain Booze, which some people may not have known about. This was despite me saying this is a hot deal and voting it hot because I have had a few bottles of this wine before and it is a bargain for £3.

My six bottles have just arrived along with the rest of the shopping. Was half expecting them to be out of stock or substituted but all was fine.

Thanks to the OP.

My dozen came through with my dozen Stella six packs. I'd timed the delivery for the evening so I opened the door with a glass in me hand.

Guess what the driver thought?:-D

Been to 2 Tesco's today, and they are cleaned out! Managed to get 2 bottles of white, was hoping for 6 to get an extra 5% off!
#38
Thanks OP, H&R etc, Usual 6 pack (only 1 rose, the last one!).
#39
Just had a bottle of the Chardonnay with the Sunday dinner, excellent.

Hopefully due a delivery at Tesco in Andover yesterday or today. As it hasn't been available for a few days I should be able to use my guarantee voucher for 6 bottles of red if the price has now gone back up.
