Wolf blass Yellow Label is my favourite(affordable) wine by some distance. Please don't confuse this with the Wolfblass Eaglehawk, which is very respectable - this is a class above and normally around £9 a bottle - genuinely. It gets reduced every now and then to about £6. 3 for £15 is like 3 for 2 on a GREAT wine.

It's a blinding wine...try and ye shall see.

I don't normally hover over my own deals but Wolfblass yellow label is a poor wine?????

Jeeez!

Good wine, great deal, normally very expensive. Hot from me.
#7
Too good for students!
Too thin for cooking!
Too cheap to be good?
Asda it is then:-D
This wine suffers because of its label looks. Get past that and it tastes very good, great for spicy meals and evening attire.
Hot from me.

Hot from me too. Everyone has different tastes, I my tastes like this wine :-)

He's probably an Alcopop/Lager fan? This is a good deal on a decent wine - you'd pay around £12-15 for similar quality French AC. Hot.

So don't comment! Why do some sad saps feel the need to express themselves on EVERYTHING!
#12
Is this the same one. I like Merlot myself, but fancy giving this a blast. Thanks.

I'm sure this is the one they had reduced to £4 per bottle only a couple of weeks ago. Presumably jacked the price back up for a couple of days so that they could apply this offer instead, which is obviously on the face of it a good discount, but not as good as it was a couple of weeks ago.

(Supermarket wine pricing is rapidly becoming like Holland and Barrett pricing - I don't think they have the first foggiest what the 'non-discounted' price of anything is anymore!)

Nice find, will call in if I am passing one.

Deffo cold...I've seen this in B&M Bargains in Middlesbrough for 4 and a half quid...they have a few Wolf Blass wines in there. It's not that great a wine anyway.
#20
I love this wine! This is a superb deal :)
#21
This (also the Shiraz, Rose and Chardonnay) are currently £4.99 in Bargain Booze if you have one local.
Morrisons also did this for £3.99 about a month ago but I can't see that offer returning before Christmas.
#22
Thank You I know what I'm doing tonight
#23
Just bought 3 as the store (Ayr) only had 5 bottles. Will try again.
Great price.

A passable Cab Sav and definitely the cheapest you will see

Good for slushing over Xmas
#27
Another marketing con job !!
Fair enough it's a drinkable wine but worth no more than £3 a bottle. (o.k.then 3 for £10 at a push)
The UK taken for a mug once more.
At least ASDA don't claim it's £9.99 a bottle like TESCON do.
#28
Can't be that bad when it's on the wine list of any number of decent quality (not top class admittedly) restaurants. Quality wine at a very reasonable price.
#29
Got some of this at £3.99 a bottle in Morrisons not so long ago - I am the type of person that struggles to pay for something when I know it has been on sale cheaper before !!

Still a good deal, and decent wine.
#30
Wolf Blass wines are terrific, and IMO the Cab Sauv is one of the nicest.

Couple of weeks ago Morrisons had these at £3.99 a bottle, which was just lunacy, frankly.

As the op says this retails at £8.99 a bottle and tastes like it does too, so 3 for £15 is a superb deal.

Will be off there tomorrow. Heat is added. :-D
#31
It's a decent enough drop. I can think of better wines in the price range but it's still not a bad find.

Just five simple words but managed to make 3 errors. Is it our educational system or are you just a thick d**k head?

Don't make me choose. Oh, alright then, TDH it is. :)

Hot, I bought a few cases from Morissons when this was £4 a bottle, enjoyed a bottle with friends lastnight actually and it was lovely!

In case nobody's noticed, Mr Ts are doing Wolf Blass President’s Selection Shiraz at half price, £6.50/each if you buy a case, with free delivery...and there's a £15 off code floating about - so £63 for 12 bottles - if you're planning on buying 12, that seems to offer better value than this deal for a wine that's genuinely normally £10+
#35
This is the Wolf Blass lead in, created to compete with the middle to bottom end of the market. Rarely seen priced above a fiver. Not even in the same league as others in the £9 range. COLD

Sweet work phreak. Hadn't spotted that before.
Just got 12 bottles of Wolf Blass President's Selection Shiraz for £63 delivered using code XXVCUK and 3% Quidco to boot (£1.89).
Have some rep.
One of us should post it as a deal?

I think you will find that their lead in is "Eaglehawk". It is quite rare to see "Yellow Label" for sale at this price and I for one will take advantage of it. This is a repeat of an offer in Asda during the summer and the Morrisons £3.99 offer was gone almost before it started! If you can buy it regularly at under £5 please do tell us where. It would be nice to have an account there:thumbsup:

Correct, I believe the range goes.

Eaglehawk - not nice
Red Label - ok, but not for me
Yellow Label - Lovely
.. then I think Presidents something or other.

I too got a couple of cases of this at £3.99 a few weeks ago, but even at £5 it's a real bargain and you're unlikely to see it below this price again.
