Did you know that Ugg boots were originally designed to be worn inside the house and are not really suitable for outside wear? Good marketing though, because they dont last and so they can sell loads :)

I thought they were originally made for surfers to wear on the beach? I have several pairs and mine are extremely durable, hard wearing and are washable! Inferior brands or faux sheepskin do not last well but genuine Uggs do and I wear mine not as a fashion accessory but as functional footwear that keep my tootsies warm and dry when I am out in the countryside or at the beach.

i ordered 2 pairs last week on another deal, £49.99, both black, got size 6.5 and 7.5,(from javari/amazon) dont look right on me, my legs are too long lol. ill be sending them back unless some1 near me wants them, im in surrey, i dont wanna make money on them, just what i paid for them, let me know before they go back :)

Why on earth would any sane person buy these considering the amount of rain we get???

Might as well go out with a couple of chamois leathers on your feet.

My original UGGS lasted for about 6 years!!
My next pair are genuine Australian sheepskig by another company as I wouldn't touch English UGGS as too many fakes nowadays. I wore them all last winter and they are fine..yes on the occassional wet school morning I wear boots but for the rest of the time I live and die in my warm boots. If I didn't I'd have blue toes from all the snow we had last winter. My UGGS are like a necessity!!

If the ones in the pic - they also have them in Costco for something around £60 saw them the other day and thought quite cheap for UGG boots but expensive for cloth wellies that don't work.... Hence the missus aint getting em as a Xmas prezzie!

I am exactly the same! Mines arrived from Javari but minute I put them on and tried to walk my feet were all over the place because there isnt any support with it being just a cardi covering!! I am gutted as like you got them for only £49.99 so am also returning mines.

I am just going to stick to the Classic Uggs as they really are the best

I have genuine Australian ones too and they are awesome. A bit of suede protector on them when I got them and they are fine. No water marks on them at...and living in Scotland, they get wet. I loves them!!
That being said, I have just posted the Amazon link for these on hubby's facebook! I want them for the rare dry days!!!

does anyone know how to tell if a website is selling genuine ugg boots? I have found a site with a sale on, seems to cheap to be true but they dont have ugg in their web address as I know that is something to look for. Is there anywhere to find out?

Tight welshman... Get your a$$ back on Black Ops instead of Xmas shopping for the other half...
