Already ready got them all from my days before becoming a fat bloke in my mid 30s (How did you know, have I left my webcam on?) and can't really justify buying them again even with the extra tracks, but a good find, have some heat, and try to keep off the pies!

Totally loved them - went to see them at every opportunity & was so in love with Miles (no I'm not a fat bloke!). Remember them being in the same dodgy nightclub in New Cross as me but not being allowed to declare my undying love by my then boyfriend. He is long gone but my love remains.....Thanks for this - I haven't played them for months and I will now be smiling all day!!!
#3
prob worth it for "size of a cow" alone
#4
Fantasic! If I didn't already have the lot, i'd be "investing" in these.

The Stuffies gig at Cambridge remains probably the most fun gig I've ever been to - such jubilant songs - barely a filler amongst them.

Miles & co. are still producing stuff, under the same name again now I think after his solo work, but not the original lineup I think?

Switching on my D2 right now to have a listen....

PS: I still have my red "IDIOT" t shirt....
#5
I still have my idiot t-shirt. And my levellers shorts :)
#6
Will bag some of these I think - top prices.

Stuffies are playing the 8 legged in it's entirety at 2 gigs, one in Brum, one in London in December.

great stuff - wavered over these albums when they were twice the price on amazon - now a no brainer
vinyl can stay in the loft a bit longer !!!!!

Probably not the same line-up as 2 of the original line up are no longer with us.

Seen them live about 6 times, best gigs I've ever been to and best band I've ever seen live. Jubiliant is the word. Ten Trenches Deep at the Ocean in Hackney a couple of years back is flashing through my mind.........:-D :-D

Think I'll go to their gig at Shepherds Bush later in the year with the the other fat & balding thirtysomethings and pretend I can still mosh and pogo!

It's just Miles and Malcolm now from the original line up, their last album 'Suspended By Stars' was pretty good. Blah Blah sounds like vintage stuffies.

PS - Gave my idiot t-shirt to my then girlfriend (shes long gone), ******! Not that it would fit me now anyway!

Not buying them but a definite bit of nostalgia, I'm in my mid 30's but not yet reached the fat bloke stage yet.

Seen them quite a few times in Newcastle, also went to see them at the GMEX and at Bescott which was a mad gig. Out of all the Brum bands some of there stuff still doesn't sound too bad, unlike Ned's.

My opinion of Miles Hunt went down a bit when he was slating SLF for reforming at a gig on the last stuffie's tour, basically he got the boot in saying they were a cabaret act etc. Bet he regrets coming out with that now.

Close call between HUP and ELGM for my fave albums.
#11
Line up has only Miles and Malc as the original line up. Seen them a few times since they reformed.
#12
Gone for ELGM - don't forget Quidco

No way! Might have to look that up. Although a few more responsibilities gathered since then might put paid to that...

Blimey the memories just keep flooding back - it was Harp Club. I used to go to the night entitled 'A million rubber bands'. Didn't realise they had reformed - severely out of touch in my old age. Please don't tell me Martin the drummer is a gonner or I might have to play them really loud which would only wake the kids!!!

Just noticed one of the tracks on Miles' album is 'For Gilksy & Jonesy' - I was soooooo happy with this thread till now!

Unfortunately Martin Gilks died in a motorbike crash a couple of years back. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4877120.stm
