Not everything is reduced, but I assume halfords are dropping wonder wheels then?

Apart from the wheel stuff, it was pretty 'meh' stuff, but for a £1 its a steal!

The guy told me the age old retail story "making way for a new line" so I wasn't sure if he meant a new line of Wonder Wheels or just something else. There are some bottles down to £3 rather than £1 but still very much a bargain. 500ml bottles too.

Thanks, just reserved £18 worth of product
go and get it , as I just reserved mine ,went to store and only one item out of ten was there. When I was there I bought the car plan stuff and t cut wax all for £1.00 a bottle instead!! Don't rely on it being there.

site keeps crashing again and again
#8
Thanks - Reserved 1 of each (as i chucked ALL my car cleaning gunk during a garage clear-out)
#9
£14 worth collected from my local, not sure if I'll use most of it on my car, but will do for the other halfs
#10
Just picked up mine full price on the shelf but scans at a £1
#11
Good price for it but wouldn't buy it
Those who've bought it smell it...it makes your eyes water as it's very acidic (see the warning on the bottle) and not suitable for all types of alloys.
Get a PH neutral cleaner like detailers use eg Bilberry Wheel Cleaner (checkout ebay), P21S etc.
You don't have to use harmful acidic cleaners to get your wheels looking their best.
Also if you fit ceramic brake pads (google Redstuff) it doesn't leave any brake dust on your wheels, last up to 6x longer than std pads and the road grime just wipes of easily.

Brilliant thanks got 3 wheel cleaners
#13
another vote for bilberry wheel cleaner. great product and lasts so long with the dilution rate
#14
They do a wheel cleaner called 'U' (universal) which isn't the pure acid stuff ;-)
#15
The paint sealant is very decebt for a quid.
#16
Reserved some thanks

Same here, but this isn't the wheel cleaner, it's the wonder wheels range of products, sealants, polishes, interior cleaners etc, the normal wheel cleaner isn't included

Ordered brilliant price!!

To be brutally honest ... Poundland do Polish and other Car Cleaning stuff!!

Would I let any of it near my cars? NO! Autoglym all the way for me.

If you work out the cost of the best car polish it doesn't actually cost that much over a year. I've thrown all my 'also-ran' car cleaning stuff in the bin ........ some Wonder Wheels stuff too!

EDIT:- their wheel cleaning stuff is good however, and, hence, excluded from the rubbish range

great price hot!!! had a few reservations cancelled before from halfords via email on morning off collection.so remember to check before you go to collect( if travelling not locally to collect)
#23
generally use autoglym products - as their super resin polish and car shampoo are the best imo - but these have gotta be worth a try at just a quid so have gone for the universal wheel cleaner; paintwork sealant; colour restorer and glass polish to add to the cleaning regime...

Cheers just picked up a fivers worth!, sales assistant was filling a basket with most of the remaining stock for a web order while I was there so not much left in Llandudno store now.
Also a few T Cut and Simoniz products a £1

All these are £1 for a reason: because they are crap products! Don't be fooled - as some have said, these products are harmful to all vehicles! Invest in some decent product and treat your card right!

Its a "Wonder" that their website is still working, it was poor over xmas, and even into January the Halfords Geek squad still ain't fixed it.

I'm in Exmouth in Devon, my nearest store for collection is Aberysytwyth! LOL. Think I'll be giving that a miss!
#39
I know our local store has every single product listed on the website, so I just added one of each to the basket apart from the £3 ones so £15 total, typed in my store and only 2 are in stock... er what?

So have reserved the 2 and will attempt to negotiate the rest on the shelf at the reduced price.. doubt it will work worth a try :l
