I didn't know Argos did kinky stuff.

lol.... i got one of these. you can turn the ring around on mine so is can be used for bread or chees etc. (cant put it in the dishwasher though!)
#6
can't afford a roast big enough to fit on this lol

Just ordered the last one at Dumbarton  Thanks for that. Great price too!

I have something similar. Works fine but a devil to clean afterwards and I do wonder how hygienic it is. You also have to find somewhere to store it for the 99% of the time it's not in use.

Good price though.

People have been using these for centuries without dying from the plague, so I wouldn't worry. Erm...

Must be a tough roast if you have to hold it with metal spikes to carve it

I've added heat although I'm currently attempting to divert my attentions to something else as kitchen gadgetry etc is my weakness and if I put another random item in my Kitchen that I really don't need I think my hubby will leave me . The breadmaker's not been out of the cupboard for over a year and I've just packed the Buffet Server away until the summer's barbie season comes in so I'll avoid buying this . Mind you it being argos it'll probably be out of stock near me anyway lol

Doesn't need to be tough to require this , just slippery . Maybe it's a roast coated with vaseline ? Wouldn't surprise me if that's a new way of keeping moisture in the meat although I think baby oil's the lubricant of choice when it comes to Human's wishing to do the same thing to their persons.

Anything tougher than a beef burger will be easier to carve with this.

Picked one up yesterday. Very robust and well made. Spiked ring stores upside down underneath held in place magnetically. Great deal for £4.99. Wish I had had one for the Xmas bird (and I guess I could have used it for the turkey too)!
