Ok guys, anyone else annoyed with o2 price increases? After getting an email from them I phoned them up to cancel my broadband (pretend). I'm on the old unlimited package and my broadband was £7.50 per month but with new VAT it was £7.66 per month. When i hponed them they told me it was going to increased to £9.50 from 31st March. As usual they tried to get me to sign up to their broadband All rounder package at the cost of £12.50 per month with 6 months free. I told the guy no because i didnt want to be traffic managed etc especially when i was on the real unlimited broadband. I asked the guy if there was nothing he could do for me on the package i was on. He has now given me the same package that i am on the now for £7 per month, inclusive of VAT. That's right £7 which is 66p cheaper than before the prices had even increased. This will obviously only work if you are near the end of your contract. Please don't anyone say "you will be signed up to the new terms and conditions with useage limits" cos i ain't.
