Looks nice.

Got one of these a couple of years ago. They are ok for holidays abroad but little use for short wavebands at home.

I've just bought this latest one from Aldi and the short wave is pretty poor - but then I think that's just because inherently it's shortwave and why it's not really used much by mainsteream radio channels these days. FM and DAB are far better. I found that the MW is ok e.g. for BBC Radio 5 Live (which I listen to a lot) but if like me you're used to DAB on BBCR5L you'll find the MW reception isn't great but bearable regardless. The main features I found best about this radio is it's portability, number of pre-sets, alarm, snooze and sleep functions. It also has a headphone socket. Great for the holidays. It also runs on batteries or will run off a mains adaptor (I've got a multi voltage / multi connection one that it works with that I picked up in poundland a while ago). Overall a good all-rounder and don't forget it has a 3 year warranty too.
