it's probably fair to add that these will be £1.- everywhere else as well, so you might just pick them up at your local bookstore.
#2
You may be better if you are only going to get one to go to your local bookstore as you can exchange your childs £1 book voucher for one of the books.
#3
Or for those who are lazy like me, you can have a book delivered to your door for £1. Much better than driving to the nearest bookstore and paying 5 x as much in car parking charges!

Thanks

Thanks :)

£2.50 for each of the Mr Men books is a joke!
#8
It would be nice if they would show age group book is aimed at.
#9
It's a good idea to take your kids to an actual bookshop if you can.

We prefer the local library.

They are special books produced for world book day. They are physically one book, but two stories in each. Have a look at the link I posted above for more details.

thanks OP... just ordered. Quidco too (making it a few pence cheaper than the bookshop!)

Yes, so do we, but I was refering to 'buying' books for children.

I remember last year when the school gave out the £1 book vouchers. My daughter and her friends all wanted the most "girly" book - and our local bookstores has run out, so mom's and dad's were having to make a special journey to other stores further afield to get one. Not gona get caught out like that this year.....ive just ordered it! Thankyou. :-D

Is it just me or is play.com really c**p as far as website search goes... Can't group products, sort them, select by brand, price band, etc.

This is really useful, thanks. I must admit my kids like to go to the bookstore and choose their own, and I'll still do that with them this year, but if there's anything they can't get then this would be great.

They are double sided so it looks like one book from the front, then you turn it over and it's another book. They did this last year, great priced books and a good introduction to popular authors.
#22
good price! they also had the different thomas ones in asda for £1 :)
#23
Thomas book massively inferior in quality to regular Thomas books. Shorter story, much thinner paper and cover. My local bookshop sells 2 for 1 at £2.50 so this wasn't a great deal for me. Good to have a new story though.
