Just ordered it from amazon the other day. Hopefully they will price match. Nice find. Heat.

There has been absolutely no hype for this game. Everything has been so vague about it. I have preordered it when it was first announced months ago for this price from Amazon. Heat added as price hikes up a bit for PS4 version in the past few months.

I'm quite hopeful as I think it looks great. Good for a bit of nostalgia too at least. Although they say the story in quite in depth - we will see.

It was playable at Insomnia a few weeks back... Part FF, part Pokemon I'd say (you can capture and battle creatures).
Definitely targetted at the younger generation, on the heels of Pokemon's return to popularity.

Is this a game that can be played offline and isnt some subscription heap of **** like Realm Reborn? I hate games that milk more money like paying a online sub to the game as well as having PS plus or Xbox Live.

I can't confirm or deny it as I can't find any relevant information. But in my opinion I wouldn't think there would be a subscription needed.

Think its a single player game, not an mmo.

Im debating wether to get it on ps4 or vita, theres not much difference in both versions but seems more of a vita game to me

I'll be getting it on Vita, but this is a fantastic price.

I think this game could be a bit of a sleeper hit - looks awesome from what I've seen so far.

Ye, same track of thought, maybe it will do what Ni No Kuni did and sell out and need another run because of it's popularity.

I don't want to have to change my Amazon order, but if they don't price match it in the next few days (and this price remains) I guess I will...

FFXV out only a month later

Wārudo obu Fainaru Fantajī is single player and there is no mention of any network features :{

As far as I'm aware you don't need ps+ to play a realm reborn online. That game is worth the money by the way. So much content gets added to it.

This doesn't require a sub btw.

Thanks, have ordered :) Excited to see how this turns out! :p

There were mentions of this having online capabilities, but if you try to find anything else about it, you'll find nothing. So for that reason, im out.

I am trying to reset my password but they keep sending me to the deals page instead of my password reset.

I remembered that because the Amazon price is close I can send it through flubit and hope for a better deal. However I should have done the maths first as they offered me a nice 12% discount - but that only comes to £29.89. So even though both will contain the bonus content (since it's in the box), flubit preorders usually arrive a few days after launch. So I'll just order from Simply Games for 10p more, keep it simple and should get it on time.

I'm looking at ordering a few items off flubit for the first time. All are being fulfilled by the game collection. Would they still deliver a few days after? The game collection normally deliver either before or on the day when going direct.

I have the same a TGC via flubit order on Gears 4 - I can't say for sure, but I would bet on it being a few days after release (1-5 days depending on supplier?) and be pleasantly surprised if it comes sooner. Admittedly the last time I used flubit for a game preorder was 2 years ago because amazon isn't usually cheap enough to bother.

If you really want it on release day I would suggest buying from a retailer directly (especially where the price is close like this one), but if you're not bothered about a small delay (or it's a game already released) then flubit is a great cost saving option sometimes.
Not sure if I missed the point of your question but hope that helps...

p.s. one of the advantages of flubit is if there are any issues you do it through the flubit system and they act kinda like the moderators, plus you only ever have to pay the money to them, so helps eliminate the worry of 'do I trust this small retailer with my personal details?'

I suppose it's in their interests to sell the benefits of going direct in the first place. I got £31.06 for gow4 via flubit. Some other guy got £28. So variable, I wonder when the optimum time to put a request in is.

(I kept editing and adding more because I couldn't help myself...)
I'm not sure if the £28 was based on a reduction of a different retailer (using the premium account), but I got £30-something as did most people who commented so I wouldn't worry about the 50p difference. It does vary but generally for an item you'll get about the same (10-15% for games, but don't be surprised if you only get something like 2% for hardware, don't keep retrying on the same item - I did that once)

Ye I might give it a couple rejections. I can always retrieve a good offer with the points system. Gonna keep Battlefield 1 offer at £31. Don't think I'll get that down more. Thanks for the help.

Happy to help, thanks for the deal. I've just confirmed my order on this deal, World of FF PS4 from simplygames, they're offering free First Class delivery too. Didn't have an account but signed up in no time and paid through paypal so nothing to worry about.

Try flubit. I think I received a quote of £29.88 when I did it but stuck with Simply games as I couldn't be bothered for 11p.

Mine arrived today but it doesn't say Day One Edition on the box, or the shop listing page, or my order in the account section of their site, however it says it on my purchase receipt. I have contacted their support and asked for a code or return, I am keeping myself the option of returning it because the idea of switching out the editions without notification of the downgrade is not fair practice.

If anyone else ordered this please let us know if yours says Day One Edition and, if you're going to open it anyway, please let us know if there are any codes in the box.

I forgot to mention it among all the other things but they said they could take up to 48 hours for a response. Hopefully not, but there's the possibility this could take a while.

Edit: There's an 0845 telephone number provided at the bottom of the page, oddly it's not provided in the help and contact section. I'm too lazy to call them and re-explain myself now that I already filled out the form, but there's that option if they don't respond in good time or good faith.

Mine has just arrived too. Same thing. I'll forego opening it until they get back to me. I've left them a voicemail. I'll let you know in turn when/if they get back to me.

Sigh. Not at home yet, but will be very annoyed if SG have done this. Even there twitter post states day one edition.

Screenshot it all, and will happily take it further.

Yep same here as well. Very frustrating to have to send it back, but it's the principle as much as anything else. They've removed all reference to a "Day One Edition" from the site now. Very naughty.

I got a response nice and quick, which I will quote in full for the sake of not omitting anything:
Thank you for your email,

We apologise sincerely that you did not receive the Day One edition of this game. We can confirm that we should have received all Day One stock from our supplier however we now know that some of the stock that was sent to us was standard edition and we have now updated the website to reflect this.

We assure you that this is a very rare occurrence and we apologise again for any disappointment caused.

If you wish to return the game to us you can do so and we can send you details on how to do this

Kindest Regards

Seems fair. I will reply to them asking if they have any Day One Editions left in stock, and if they do that I would be happy to keep the sale with them and return my basic edition if a Day One copy is immediately dispatched in exchange, as opposed to return and full refund. I will offer to send it either Return To Sender or their choice of shipping if they will refund the cost. I don't think they have an obligation to pay return postage, so I will pay it if reasonable, but the offer of replacement should be more appealing to them than the full refund... assuming they have any to give.

The relevant rules are http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act and to a lesser extent http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-contracts-regulations since the primary issue is that it's 'not as described'.

p.s. this reply came an hour ago I was just very slow doing some background reading and writing this post.
