this is great for travelers with a laptop, no need to take it out of your computer in storage. quite cheap aswell. this is what dealextreme say:

- USB 2.0 interface
- Bluetooth 2.0 Class 2 with EDR (enhanced data rate)
- Maximum range: 10~30 meters (manufacturer claimed)
- Ultra mini design -- barely sticks out from typical USB ports

I think the USB plug in your printer would be a PictBridge port so, no you cant, unless you printer has bluetooth built in.

Canon sell a bluetooth usb stick to fit my printer (about £50 from Amazon!) so the possibility is there. It is listed as being Bluetooth compatible in the printers specs.

You should check with the manufacturer, rtfm, post your printer model here and see if anyone has already tried or buy one adapter and see for yourself if it works.

I'm sticking to my 99p usb cable 'cos if I remote print I still need to walk to the printer to pick-up the document.

you need a chair with wheels, one push off from the desk and your all the way to the printer! more fun and speedy too! ( i reckomend leaving your laptop on the desk!)

It's ridiculous that this is so cold. This is just the unbranded Bluetooth module made for Trust, which you can rarely find for less than £12 - £15, and is far, far smaller than any other Bluetooth dongle.

The Trust module went through the roof temperature-wise when it was listed for £13+. This is just the same at less than half the price.

It may persuade people to stop voting cold if the price and/or retailer was in the title. :)
