Lowest price online (from £10 elsewhere inc Amazon, Asda, Play, Tesco). Standard Edition is £6.99 @ Base too.
Big-budget zombie apocalypse thriller starring Brad Pitt. UN employee and committed family man Gerry Lane (Pitt) is forced to abandon his wife and children when a global pandemic hits, turning ordinary people into violent subhuman monsters with an insatiable appetite for human flesh. Due to the nature of his job, Gerry is deemed one of the very few people left on Earth with the ability to find the source of the virus and ultimately a cure, but will he be able to do so before the last remnants of humanity are completely eradicated?

Best film I've seen in a while, and it was really refreshing to see something different. ie the way it kicked off from the start. Heat op

Awful film with even worse cgi effects. Avoid like the errrrrrr zombie plague

Its PLAN B, if original part of new world order plan fails.

I went watching thisat the cinema. Had everyone laughing at the zombie with the weird chattering teeth thing. I dont think that was the desired effect...

The movie itself though is really holding its value been out for a while and usually goes up or down a quid. I got the 3d version for about a tenner which includes this extended cut with it, sadly not in 3D though.

is it free delivery at the base?

Only seen trailers but where were the Zombies with bad legs etc being made a zombie can't fix all someone's ailments surely?

X) That scene toward the end was quite (unintentionally) funny!
Thought it was good fun, felt like a few different films meshed/merged together - different settings & tone. Wish they'd have spent a bit more time with the soldiers early on.

I mainly liked that the film was up and running with the plot in like 2 minutes hah. Instead of taking all day before anything happened.

It wasn't the best, neither the worst. It did sort of turn out to be a full on zombie movie, when i was expecting it to offer a bit more. Voted cold because i would rather pay £8 a month for 100's of movies instantly then 1 standalone movie.

I thought it was poor too. Unrealistic.

Zombies wouldn't gan on like that in real life, they are relaxed, meandering souls. Not meth induced lunatics.

I live zombie films but thought this was average at best.

Horrible film, running/jumping zombies really? And the plane crash is laughable along with the rest of the film.

I can highly recommend the book, which oddly, apart from the title, has nowt in common with this film

Looking forward to the sequel

Good film, well worth the price...

Heat from me...

It would have been a good film if Brad Pitt's agent hadn't rewritten the script.

Everything that happens in the film that works is done by him ...It becomes predictable far too soon.

And the only new thing ..Zombie stacking ..Is not used enough ..it really is the ultimate zombie weapon
#24
Great film maybe not enough super scary bits but great film, love the part when the zombie jumps out when they head up to helicopter, whole theatre screamed lol
#25
It was an OK film, but has nothing at all to do with the book they bought the rights for. Which really annoys me as the book is amazing and if followed could have made for a really decent zombie film. The battle at Yonkers would have been amazing to see on the big screen if done right.

Great south park episode, travel everywhere by crashing planes.

Zombies were way too fast in the dark scenes. My eyes couldn't keep up!
#28
Firstly they are not zombies in the old sense they are infected dead, like in 28 days later, so faster. The extended cut is a vast improvement on the theatrical and a better watch. Needs a couple of watches to appreciate. Been waiting for it to go down in price. Hot!
#29
Its ok as an 'action film', but as a 'zombie film'... erm, no thanks.

But I was brought up with Romero's trilogy and Zombie-lore, so these super fast speed freaks will never cut it for me.

And these in WWZ weren't even eating people, just attacking/biting to spread an infection, and moving straight onto next victim... an infection which took literally seconds to kill you and reanimate you.

It was all just, well, silly to be honest.
