Coffee machines are a waste of money. If you want a proper cup of coffee, buy a cafetiere. It's the cheapest, simplest, most efficient way of making a cup of coffee, and they make a vastly superior drink to any of these silly machines. Even cappucinos.
makes you wonder if they actually tested this before release. Sounds really bad.
Dont spend almost £30 on a maximum of 10 coffees - Purchased one of these last year for my mum and cant find a single bit of praise - Binned within a month. Inner components were made from plastic! Just flick the kettle on and use good old nescafe, as least that comes warm :whistling:
It wasn't actually posted as a deal but in the comments of another deal. So not old news for some.

i haVE REC'D nothing for my £260 i will be contacting the bank as i have already contacted trading standards.

Thanks for the heads up on the visa chargeback - i quoted the consumer credit act section 75 to the abbey bank and they advised me to call visa, i said no and asked for the complaints dept. they have sent a dispute letter for me to complete and they will refund my money in the next few weeks. i searched google for visa chargeback and abbey and tread the article from the express

Hope others can share in the joy of not allowing these companies to continue to sell to us when they have no intention of sending the goods. Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas:santa::santa::w00t:
Something very fishy going on here.

I spoke to someone from the administrators on Christmas Eve who said I would have to go through VISA chargeback to get my money back even though I cancelled my order on Thursday 18th December - they went into administration on the 22nd according to this man. I asked him about the website and he said they were trying to sort it out and even though the site is still live you couldn't actually buy anything. I've just been on there now and the site is STILL live and guess what? - If you add stuff to your basket then you get right through to the payment screen. Of course, having already lost £82 I didn't submit another order but having worked in IT, I know how easy it is to take down a site, or even stick a page up to say they are no longer trading - a two second job.

DIRECT4HOME are still up there two with an almost identical website, again, claiming you can shop with confidence :whistling:

Unfortunately my parcel was delivered on the Monday after I had cancelled it and I refused to accept the parcel as I had already been out and bought a whole new set of presents. So I'm not really sure where I stand on this one ...
