travel cover is a waste of time....i bet

This used to be £10 before they sold us all out and had to be bailed out! Also, more spam than a deal as it's been going for a while now and most of the other banks do similar accounts.
#3
Phone insurance on its own costs £6-£7 or more for just one handset. With this you and your joint account holder will get their phones insured. And also you can change your phones anytime if you buy a NEW handset.

Most of the banks have similar offers ...agreed .. but this seemed to be good value for money. I have this account for nearly 4 years now and I would recommend it to anyone looking for insurance.

Just coz you know about this doesn't mean that everyone knows about this ... so please vote on the merit of what you are getting for your money .

And you get a free £300 overdraft.

You don't have to pay £12.50 per month and take out this account to get a fiver a month account credit. Halifax do an account that gives the fiver a month if the customer credits the account by £1000 per month to the account.
#7
And 0.20% on top of Halifax Savings accounts rates majority of which are without the bonuses already.
#8
But the insurance isn't good enough and the aa bit is the cheap one. It might seem a good deal but it's not really
#9
I've got this account .............. didn't get much choice really when they introduced charges for overdrafts etc which were previously free
#10
The travel insurance did actually pay out when Iceland's volcano was messing up the skies, quite a few other policies didn't.

....yeah, they are quite sneaky & don't really advertise this one. I have 3 of them & just transfer the same £1,000 into each account for a few secs each month to get £15 - not bad for 1 minutes 'work'! :3

I used home emergency cover on 2 different occasions without any problems .... First one was the leakage in the bathroom and the second one was the leekage under the kitchen sink.

fair enough but see what happens if your boiler packs up ;)

tbh, its a pretty good deal all in all if you are happy with the most basic cover.

You can credit 1000 from one account to the other . So the same grand gives you 10 qui monthly.
