considering this product is aimed at people who have allergies to traditional ice cream ingredients i.e dairy, sugar, etc do you expect it taste as good as ben and jerrys and haagen dazs? not to mention this is intended as a healthy alternative product to regular ice cream and lets be honest healthy products are renowned for their taste(_;)

Except its not that healthy, and the Swedish Glace is a much, much tastier alternative for those with allergies.

what is the point of buying something that is tasteless and when i say tasteless i have never in my life tasted a product that is so horrible..... yes it might be for people with allergies etc but surely they still have taste buds.....

better eating something else than this

£4 for less than a litre of nasty ice-cream? Cold in more ways than one.

The fact that you bought this (when it's clearly marked as a dairy-free alternative) and then thought it was a smart idea to moan about it not being as good as normal ice-cream says far more about you and your level of common sense than it does about the quality of the product.

What next? Do you plan to moan about diabetic chocolate not being sugary enough for you? Maybe the hazelnut-free alternative to Nutella isn't nutty enough for you?

The fact that you have clearly misunderstood the market for this product should not get in the way of the fact that this is a seriously hot deal. Considering the normal price of this and the fact that it's the only decent dairy-free alternative to ice-cream in Asda, this deal is great for those who are vegan or lactose-free.

swedish glace is pretty nice imo. why 480mm though hate how things get smaller for more profit,

Sell like hotcakes at Tesco. And by hotcakes, I mean, I haven't filled them for about 2 months. At this price I will just tell people to go to Asda.

The complaint was that it didn't have a taste, not that it tasted worse than normal ice cream. I see no problem with someone trying a product themselves rather than writing it off because it's meant for a specialist market. All that is being said is that there's a limit (firstly i think your assumption that something made as a specialist alternative can't taste as good or better than the product it is an alternative to is just simply wrong, especially as taste is subjective) and if it's truely tasteless then the fact it's dairy free doesn't save it from being branded as crap.

is this by that preston lass who appeared in dragons dens... frozen yoghurt stuff..

For this price, I'll give it a go as part of my dairy-free diet. Will need to try for myself rather than rely on anyone else's opinion (particularly those who didn't buy for the fact that its dairy-free, although I won't expect Haagen Dazs!).

Hot from me, thanks for posting!

I believe so.

I haven't tried this but it's nice to see a young entrepreneur try to succeed with a niche product in a competitive market. Hope she does well!
