Your right there and Worx are a pretty good budget brand. :D
You may not to spend £150 though, lol. Try this from B&Q.
Good make, LI-ion, only one battery though, but I thnk this would be a better buy. If you are not on-site all day,1 battery should be enough for the DIY'er
I think you mean as long as you DO regularly drain them completely, they should go on for years...
Li Ion batteries DO NOT like getting drained regularly.
Ni Cad do need draining regularly.
My Bosch Li Ion drill seems to have some electronic control to stop the drill when the battery reaches a certain level. All I can say, is I hope the Li Ion cells last a lot longer then the Ni Cads on the previous Bosch drill.

Thank you
I had an old heavy 24v NiCAD drill before my 18v Hitachi Li-ion drill that Ive had since about 2009 - its had some heavy use, and especially so over the last 3 weeks (4-6 battery packs put through a day) and still going strong. The twin kits for £150 are a steal - only have one myself but got it when they did the hammer drill with 2 batteries for £100 - and then brought it on a 20% off weekend - deal. In comparison if I brought a NiCAD in 2009 - it would have needed new batteries by 2010 probably with my usage + the Li-Ions have much more torque.
If you can wait for a good deal and use your drill a lot it can be more cost effective long term to spend an extra £35 or so like I did. The only thing on my Hitachi now after 3 years of heavy use is the chuck is a bit worn.
(normal average usage at a guess for me is a battery pack a day, 5 days a week - but 4-6 a day when I'm on a big job)
