Bargain, I paid over £20 for this from Amazon a few weeks ago.

I remember watching this as a kid, and as much as I try to recall those far off days I am still finding it hard née on impossible to marry the words “Worzel Gummidge“ & Ultimate into a coherent sentence – some how they just don’t go together no matter how much I try, a bit like (England victorious & World Cup ) . . . . Then again maybe I’m missing something, anyone for “a cup of tea & slice of cake?”

Totally agree, John Pertwee was a great character actor. Most of the stuff on kids T.V. now is either re-hashed crap or cartoons. Anyone remember Lizzie Dripping, the Flaxton Boys etc ?

The Crowman!

It was disturbing, certainly, even tragic. Like kids comics of the time, it was full of references that children would not be familiar with - Aunt Sally!?

Nowadays all reference to anything all kids *might* not understand is dumbed out of any kids TV show and are poorer for it.

Will wait for the knock down price and in the meantime watching 'different strokes' with my children and they love it. The humour in it is incredible and still makes me howl, good times. RIP Gary....
