heat for op!

This is really cheap but quite frankly I would rather eat the packaging. Its probably tastier and more nutrional than the contents. Hot for the deal though.

:)

Is it just me, or do Pot Noodles have absolutely no taste at all :?:
#10
cant think of anything worse.....what next....soiled cat litter flavoured crisps

i eat pot noodles because they are in a pot. I'm too lazy to clean dishes which makes the idea of a plastic pot a great alternative for me. Furthermore i only buy Kingside pot noodles. They write king on the side of them and it makes you feel big and somehow a better person.

just salt
i heard that if you eat pot noodles regularly you glow in the dark
#13
Arent Pot Noodles loe salt nowadays, thats why they dont taste as good as they used to.....Ill be trying these though! YUM!
#14
So this is impossible to make if you're at work or want something quick.

However, you guys should try Maggie Noodles. They are the best compared to Super Noodles, but not as good as Pot Noodle.

lol...suckered by marketing.......low salt compared to the mountain piled in before, no nutitional value at all
#16
I prefer Koka noodles

If you buy Tesco or Asda's own brand of noodles - which vary between about 7p and 10p, from reading the panel of what's in them - they are massively more healthy than the more expensive options.
#18
Got these a couple of weeks ago in Tesco's when they were on offer 4 for £1,nothing like a pot noodle the noodles are thinner and have even less taste if that was possible.
Much prefer the Blue dragon noodle wok.

I agree with the above on buying the supermarket own brand noodles. The only real difference between the supermarket packs and the Pot Noodle packs are the flavouring packets inside (though I do prefer the Pot Noodle flavouring over most of the supermarket brands).

The Pot Noodle packets are not the same noodles as the pots.

Last but not least, with the supermarket noodles I like to throw in some wafer thin ham/chicken/beef and chop up a few spring onions and make a noodle soup. Quick and simple snack.

I've noticed that too. Although if you get the chicken and mushroom one, you get a pack of soy sauce so you can re-add the saltiness lol, curry flavour ones still taste alright, beef and tomato deffo not as good as it use to
#28
Super noodles start doing pots and pot noodles start doing this?

OMG! I remember that range every now and again and wish, wish, WISH I TELL YOU(!) .. .. ahem... that they would bring it back. Couldn't remember what the range was called, as I was only 13 or something but I loved the Madras flavour, beats any pot noodle ever. I feel like giving you some Rep... and so I shall!

What were the other 2 flavours now? I remember I liked one but not the other one so much.

Oh and "Sems" mentioned Blue Dragon noodles. I totally agree, I love the Chilli & Chicken flavour - they include flavouring and optional chilli flakes. YUM!

Pot Noodles are nothing like they used to be, I never buy them now ever. Spicy Curry used to be my no/1 (after the long-gone 'Pots of the World') and then they included sweet sauce with it instead of the kinda spiced sauce which helped give it a kick. Hated when they brought out a decent flavour then changed it for the worse - like Nice and Spicy.

the low salt and fat brigade ruined pot noodles , they just dont taste as good

Pots of the World - The best was Madras, I think there was a Mexican one, can't remember the others.

I remember years ago when Curry Pot Noodle had, "New improved Flavour" printed on the lid and they never tasted the same since. I always add some chilli powder to them.

I even wrote Golden Wonder a letter (before I had email) to ask why they stopped making them and they said that they were not popular. I can't believe it, I mean Madras is probably the most popular curry.

The Madras Vesta Packs were also one of my favourites.

Mars did the same thing to Milky Ways and spoilt them.

Maybe if we create a partition we can get Madras Vesta Packs and P. Noodles back.

Cancelled Walkers Beef and onion Crisps - far better than them new flavours, although chilli and chocolate do go together as they contain some taste chemicals that bond together.

Then there was Heinz spicy soup with rice.

I suppose you could make your own pot noodles. Noodles+peas+a few flavours+cardboard. Not sure about the fake meat they use though, can you buy it separately?

Haven't seen these before and I can't wait to try them now - i hope they're as yummy as Pot Noodles!
