does anyone know whether you're free to drive off in France, ie use this as a cheap single?

Many thanks, H+R

could u get two of these, for different dates, and use as a cheap return?!

This sounds like a great deal!! Is there much to take advantage of other than the hypermarkets? It'd be nice to go for a drive around with the roof down. Shame my car doesn't have much of a boot!! H&R.

It mentions potential charges if you fail to travel one way - I wonder what they're like, this looks ideal to start my Mongol Rally adventure!

no they will charge your card the full amount ie £50 odd pounds one way

I was tempted to jump onto this as we we're planning on going continental around that time. BUT, in ref. to people asking;
'If you fail to travel on one part of your booking we may charge a supplement.'
Its in the T&C. If paying by normal card, then it will be charged, however, what would happen if you had a PAYG Mastercard/Visa, as they can't charge more than you have on it.

i think you'll find when you return they have your name and car reg so you will have to pay a supplement to get back.however a good idea would be to use 2 different companies ie poferries one way and say seafrance the other way all using a prepaid card

Not much to travel out for with the current exchange rates - the alcohol wont be particularly cheap, either in the hypermarkets or bars, and neither will a meal out.

Still, if just going for a road trip, its not bad!

i did the same trip last week with tickets from the news of the screws and the same price plus the wine it must be a promo that is doing the rounds in the papers,
worth going for a day out and a bit of shopping.
