Great price. Its well worth picking a old f30/f31 on ebay and you'll have a good compact setup. I have a f100fd and it doesn't give as good results as othesr have been getting with these models even on underwater mode..

Great price. Its well worth picking a old f30/f31 on ebay to use as a spare setup. I have a f100fd and it doesn't give as good results as othesr have been getting with these models even on underwater mode..

F30/F31 IMHO will go down as one of the few digital compacts that will have some kind of iconic status. A bit like the Olympus Trip or Olympus XA.

My F31 is still pretty unbeatable for low light non flash use in a compact camera. I bought my son a Canon SX120is which to be fair is a great camera too. However over and above ISO 400 the Fuji comes into it's own.

As you say, if underwater photography means more to you than 20 mins in the swimming pool on holiday, then the purchase of a F30/F31 from ebay together with this deal will make sense.
