Unbelieveable price for a new release.

The WRC games were amazing on PS2 so hopefully this continues the trend.

[EDIT] PS3 version is also £29.85 http://www.shopto.net/PS3/VIDEO%20GAMES/PS3WR01-WRC%20FIA%20World%20Rally%20Championship.html

Quality deal might have to get that!

I hope it plays well as the graphics look like it's still on a PS2. Also been hearing there are no hairpin bends, imaging a rally game without hairpins lol.

Be nice to have a proper rally game rather than dirt

Cheaper @ Argos using PLAY15 code.

PS3 £28.05
Xbox £28.90

Not much tho :D

Would rather the piece of mind of shopto delivering on time.

But I suppose a 95p saving, is a 95p saving :)

Played the Demo and wasnt all that impressed. I was mega hyped for it though! Got F1 2010 this week though to keep most busy for a while.

Will wait on a WRC price drop, which I expect wont be long.

I wasn't impressed with the demo either. As others have said, best to wait for the inevitable plunge in price if you are interested in this (which you probably shouldn't be if you played the demo!).

I played the Xbox 360 demo last night and although I was impressed by the car detail, the scenery (like Adidas said) looks like its been ported straight from the Ps2. I thought it might be an unfinished version but I'm quite disappointed to hear that its probably how it looks in the full retail game. It actually plays pretty well but I won't be buying it if the scenery is as naff as it is in the demo.

Basically reminded me of how poor Race Pro was, a purists racing game, who can look past the graphics. I sadly cant!
#13
Stick with f1 2010 got it coming this week with new wheel ! :D

try the demo its S**T
its on marketplace and psn

i had high hopes for this as it was amazing on ps2,but the graphics arnt much better,it handles like vrally, invisible walls,u can drive 100mph into a stick fence and the fence stays there ut u smash your bumper and window.

with the likes of dirt 2 and so on released last year, its pathetic that this an official game is so poor

Probably blew the budget on offical licencing :p

graphics didn't look great even on pc, so must look terrible on console. Dirt 2 is the best rally game out there, not a lot can beat it.

Back on the PS2, Evolution Studios (makers of Motorstorm) had the WRC licence & those games were excellent. Unfortunately Black Bean Studios (developers of this iteration of WRC) haven't shown the same pedigree with the SBK & the V8 Superstar series.

Reading this thread has broke my heart. I loved the WRC titles on the PS and was really holding out for this title on the xbox. I watched the video on Play and thought the graphics were naff, but put it down to the video or being a pre-release demo.

Think i'll hold off from an early purchase just in case. Is F1 2010 worth getting (without a wheel)?

A real shame about this game.... :( But i bought a brand new official MS wheel for £40 ready for F1 2010 yay!! :)

Just noticed the F1 2010 & wheel deal for £49.86, cant imagine the wheel is gonna be much good at less than £20??
