You buy. Is nice!

the only think is to order sepearte as apparently import duty on stuff over about £17

Make sure you don't buy two as only one of these will work at a time with the console. Something to do with the way it sends the signal. You get what you pay for with knock-offs.

The price for proper isn't much different, is it?

If thats true then this seems completely pointless as you obviously get a wimote with the console and the only reason I can see for wanting an additional one is for 2 player.

That's not true. They work fine for me.

he's saying that you shouldn't have more than one of THESE brand of wiimote.

which isn't true anyway as I have 2 and they work fine together

it's probably around £10 cheaper than the cheapest you can get the official ones elsewhere.

It's bizarre that in my 15 years of gaming, EVERY other console I've ever owned has had joysticks/pads/accesories made by 3rd parties......but for some reason this is getting bad rep for not being an official nintendo product?!?

Do people think Nintendo Wii is different?

Subject: Some problems connefting
Jonsered Wednesday, August 13, 2008 6:44 AM Reply
Some weeks ago i ordered one of theese WU-brand controllers for my Wii. And when my controller arrived, i found that it worked fine, so i decided to order another.
And when it arrived, then the problems started. I couldnt get two of those to work same time. And when further investigating this problem via connecting one of theese WU-controller to my computer, i found that both of my controllers had same MAC-address on their bluetooth-chip. So theres no way those controllers would work at same time in same Wii-console.

From their own comments.

The issue i have with knock-off products is the quality. I've (unintentionally) bought fake controllers off ebay which didn't work and postage wasn't refunded. That's ebay more than anything else though. Other than this 'WU' brand i've never seen any non-official Wii controllers for a very good reason; the wiimote isn't just some controller. Nintendo spend millions developing a new revolutionary controller with god knows how many patents taken out on it. How can any other company, other than Sony or Microsoft, afford to make a proper knock-off. The wiimote is just too complicated. Unofficial charging stands yes but wiimotes no. That said, the knock-off charging stand i got was **** with the wiimote needing to be held in position to charge.

If you find the real controller for this price then that's a deal but all this is is a knock-off product for a knock-off price.

i have a couple of 3rd party wii remotes and they all work fine, i can't comment on this particular one though as i ordered this set from deal extreme a while back but it still hasn't arrived, but i've never had this problem with deal extreme before and i've ordered from them many times and you never have to pay custom charges with them.

It's third party....hardly knock off

and a good price for an occasional use 2nd remote.
