This is excellent timing. Am after the PS3 version for a present. Heat added.

What is the difference between the Bret Hart one and the other.

Thanks so much, just ordered the hitman version for my Nephew (I assumed it was the same game but with the added extras) - he will be over the moon! He's at Bluewater tonight to meet 'The Hitman' LOL

I got the standard copy from HMV just the other day for £25 (which I thought was good), does what is says on the tin really. Haven't been online yet

Good price, gonna hold off on this one til it goes down a little bit more. Seems to have dropped pretty quickly.

my sentiments exactly.

Really wish the Viper Edition wasn't restricted to a supermarket, means it won't be this price for a few months yet, if then.
#18
thanks for posting this, op! though the price will probably reduce by a few more pounds over the next few weeks, the current price is good enough for me. just ordered the hitman edition.

If you've played the last few, not much point in getting this one. The series badly needs an overhaul. But if you must have it, I'd say wait. These yearly updates will drop in value after Christmas.

The thing is, 2010 didn't really drop much less than this until pretty recently! (Last 3/4 months I'd say)

I got the game when it was £25 last week and although it feels a little bit slower than the 2010 version it's very good.

The WWE Universe replacing the career mode takes a bit off getting used to and I don't think it's anywhere near as good as a linear when it comes to using your own created superstar. I find it tends to leave my CAW out quite a bit (although I did win the IC title the last time I played it)

They in game collision system needs a major overhaul (especially when the big show is involved) Watching the Show choke slam Mysterio and have his hand 1cm away from his face is pretty poor in this day and age!

Thank you! Ordered the Hitman edition for my son, have been waiting for it to drop but I am happy with this price for this edition!

'The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be' DVD is a 3 Disc set according to Amazon-
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000CMNI7S/****

Is it only disc 1 you get with this game, if all 3 DVDs then the game in theory is only £5.00 ;)

So Annoyed at this!
Very hot deal.
I got this for a tenner more.
NEVER pre-order or pay £30 for a game.

Decent price, but nothing will ever beat the fun I had with Here Comes the Pain on PS2. Ok, so it wasn't realistic like it is today, but it was by far the most fun, easy to play and down right awesomest WWE game I've ever played. I've outgrown wrestling now but I still have that game in my library and still pop it into my old PS2 from time to time to hand out an ass kicking. Has most of the classic wrestlers too such as Stone Cold, The Rock and Goldberg. Bloody brilliant game! :D

*Sheds tear* Wish I cold go back in time. I feel old at 23 :(

Nah mate, it was all about Smackdown 2: Know Your Role on PS1. Now that was a wrestling game!
These recent games have been a let down for me and do not seem to improve much at all each year...

this game is seriously worth it, for Universe mode alone.

My son is nine and desperately wants this game as he is wwe mad. However I note the age on the front so can somebody tell me if it is suitable for a nine year old or not? I am very naive when it comes to computer games!
