1.5% - i didn't think it was worthwhile mentioning that seeing as it's so low. but i suppose getting pennies back is better than nothing at all

agreed - but i have the drawers from this collection and the wardrobe from another collection and i have no complaints about them. one drawer handle had to be replaced but apart from that they have done me fine over the past 12 months or so. ordered this wardrobe for moving in with my gf so hopefully quality will still be the same

I have one like this and its nice to look at but not very strong!! door broke quite easily but all in all for under £200 its not bad...

Yeah cant comment on this particular deal directly but I recall being impressed by the prices for some solid pine furniture on some of the DIY stores earlier this year until I opened the cupboards and doors and saw how thin the solid pine they were made out of was (about 1cm thickness as opposed to the good inch or so thickness that decent solid pine furniture used to be)

Argos furniture is overpriced in the first place, you would be mad to pay the full price for that.

Very flimsy build quality indeed.

When does the offer for 15% off furniture expire?
#11
Argos furnitures tend to have some kind of general trend whereby they leave the back end open either halfway or all open so I'm always reluctant of buying from them.

The Wycombe isn't the best range of furniture. The handles on the Tallboy I bought came off as they are only screwed on. If you try a bigger screw it'll come off again and will leave a bigger hole in the handle. Looks nice though but the build quality of the range could be better.

I'm trying to find some replacement handles now that don't just use a woodscrew. I'm after ones with the collar/barrel fitted in the handle and that take a bolt sort.

We just got this for £149 with a voucher - It took Argos 26 days before they rang us to tell us the order would be within the next 28 days :x

Wardrobe arrived yesterday and missing 1 whole set of cams  In my time working for MFI I NEVER had any missing peices so this was annoying - I got some replacments from screwfix but argos cams are not as deep as everyone elses so we are now waiting for Argos to get their butts into gear!

Anyway, is this such a good deal? Why is this £500 while ours in only £200? Maybe the thickness of wood used?

price now gone back up to £399.99

i ordered this wardrobe at the price i posted it at. it too about 10 days to get delivered. the wrong parts were in the box. i contacted argos customer service, they said they'd send out replacement parts. they took about 7 days to arrive. the wrong parts were in the box. i contacted argos customer service and they are now telling me my wardrobe and parts are unavailable! the customer service i am receiving from argos is disgraceful. i feel as if nobody wants to help me.

i'm sorry if anyone else has had the same or similar problems from this deal.

:x
